Egret 2 has Mazinger Z for now, as its my only current vertical pcb since my king of air died.

Thanks! Mazinger is pretty fun, although a little easy. If you devote 1-2 days to it you can 1cc it no problem.

I spy a sneaky link cable on the two centre cabs. Out of interest ... is that an official link or a link-loom you made yourself?

It's one I made myself I was going to buy one (well, two actually) off the net, but they weren't long enough to be able to connect player 3 & 4 to a separate cab - especially player 4, as that needed to span two cab widths.
I forgot to run the 3p cable before I put the cabs in so had to fudge it through the coin doors. When I get a chance i'll run it properly.

Ah! I ask because I have tried the same, but I get some horizontal sync issues on the cable. Wondered if you'd come across that, or if you are using any video amplification or anything? (Controls are totally fine, as is audio.. just my video that's not quite there!)

I went on to some Neo Geo love in my cab with Viewpoint. I am still able to get to LVL 4 without losing a life after all the time, but there the game gets nasty. Still gonna work my way through the 1CC someday

yes, really nice game, creative setting with fantastic detailed stages and animation.

Viewpoint is a top one, too. Think i also will need some years for the 1CC

good to hear, I think the game is not really expensive but quite hard to find...
It took me years to beat the fourth boss in AES mode, played Viewpoint from release and still loving it
