I read somewhere that the owner was offered $1m before it was put up on auction, bet he's kicking himself now if true.

$1.2m from someone in Norway apparently, so I guess €1M. Who knows though? Could easily just be a rumour in all the hype that was built up.

There's photos of a better model, this has a 002 sticker on the bottom, and it was from a batch of 200 or more.

I predict there's about the same amount as finished M2s

But how many made into the hands of the public rather than a rubbish skip though? Having worked in many video game stores, many items are thrown away that are eBay worthy and if it’s a store closure... lots of kiosk and pods are just left there abandoned to be gotten rid of by future tenants. Even seen flat screen tv’s and old games etc... If this way is applied throughout on average... Maybe there isn’t anything close to 200... Time will tell though, now that this sold we will see some more.
