Hi everyone! I just joined after hearing about this forum from arcade-projects. I've been collecting arcade machines for a couple years now and have been pretty self sufficient as far as upgrades and repairs go. But recently one of my arcade machine's CRT monitor died and I've taken my first step into the world of CRT repairs. I heard there are some CRT experts here and I'm hoping to learn more about diagnosing and repairing CRT monitors. Aside from that I really like rhythm games and shmups. I look forward to learning new things and meeting new people while here.

it's been several years i tried to register but i dont know how it was impossible.

i tried this morning and its miraculous, its done !

so realy happy to become part of the familly.

Im from france, im 43, and the arcade and video game are all my youngest day (like several here

i got some good pieces:
euro cabinet : jeutel cabaret, rene pierre super standard
Japanese cabinet : naomi, new astro, blast, single sega rally and i'm waiting from yaton china an snk mvs-u4 (waitting since october 2021....).

i do some art job : neo geo cd obi, mvs holo label...

i hope help others and learn from all.

Another 80's/90's kid who fought for Sega during the console wars but have only recently gone full arcade goblin mode and very excited to restore my first cab.

First post. Glad to be here.

Had a friend recommend I check out this forum for help as he said it's dedicated to candy cabs.

I've got two. An Astro City and a Blast City with an aero city CRT in it.

He helped me a ton in getting my Aero City up and running last year but has since moved. So I'll need to start getting my knowledge up here by reading and asking questions.

It seems I can't post new threads yet so not sure how long until I can so I can share my struggle with my blast in order to get help. But glad to be here. Thanks.
