OK, A friend of mine accidentally necked his Egret 2 monitor

Post by JAMMArob » April 23rd, 2009, 3:22 am

We may have a few leads on a New Astro tube. Will this fit in his cab?

I suppose I could measure my New Astro MS9 tube and measure his to compare, but I thought someone here might know off-hand.

I am trying to help him find a replacement.

If a New Astro tube will work, that is great news. I think he may have a few leads on just the CRT.

You would think there would be enough demand worldwide for at least ONE company to keep making these... old tech dying out makes me sad.

I have a good hunch Wells Gardner D9400 is a direct replacement, quad-sync is of course a bonus.
