It has the same gold/bronze chip stickers as mine, which is different to the other irem m72 boards I have.

I don't know if other m72's have the same stickers though, but they stand out.

Well then you would pass on a lot of perfectly fine and legit M72 boards like this one, but that's your choice.

image fight with dragon breed label

or here

ninja spirit with with image fight label

for my vision these are " conversion " done by irem with original hardware for sure , but " conversion "

imho an original irem board must have " specific label " :) or it could be an " original conversion "

this not has label so maybe it's just unglue label or maybe could be a coversion , who know ? :)

In a nutshell, you're saying it must have a license seal to be legit?

I'd always want the correct seal for M92...but the problem with M72, is it honestly seems like the majority of boards out there are factory conversions of some sort. You sometimes even see boards with three or four original seals - that have clearly been converted by Irem multiple times!

I'd liken the situation to CPS1. Granted, Capcom were probably better at covering their tracks than Irem...but a huge percentage of CPS1 games are factory conversions. The 'original runs' of Daimakaimura and Knights of The Round, etc, hardly ever turn up, compared to the Resale versions. Although they do usually sell for a bit more.

In the case of M72, though, it seems to make very little difference to price. I consider myself a bit of a sticker/seal purist ;) But even I've given up when it comes to M72 :lol: I think only one out of my three M72 boards has the correct seal...

i can't say in this specific case , cause can be that only missing original label.
but on those board i have posted , yes , for my idea of collectionism are clearly conversion made by irem.. i'm not sure i'd buy them... maybe for a low price , for sure not at market value
same thing those people that buy only games with flyer and reg card.
collectionism = insane :D

but on those board i have posted , yes , for my idea of collectionism are clearly conversion made by irem.. so i'd buy them only for price like -20 / -30% of their value .
