Blast City measurements with back and cp. Help!

Post by skykappah »

I'm thinking about getting a Blast sometime in the future.. I need to know some answers though.

1. The cp comes off like the Egret's does it? Just open the cp, unscrew and detach?

2. The cab's back cover comes off by just taking out the screws? It's not internally attached to anything is it?

3. Could any kind soul give me the side measurement of the blast without the cp and back cover.

Thanks in advance.

1.) Yes, but be aware that the bottom half of the monitor support bracket is attached to one of the bolts on the bottom half of the CP
2.) Pretty much, you will have to remove the PSU though. Also be aware that the back is also screwed to the bottom plate of the cab itself as well.
3.) I can update in about 12 hours if someone else has not beat me to it.

All illsay about taking a blast apart is that removing the cp is easy but taking the two halts apart is not.

I took a blast apart and the screws that hold the base to the two plastic halfs has loads of akward screws that you will find won't budge an may need to be drilled out. It's no 5min job like on say an astro city it's much more week put together.

Cheers people. I may have to this the hard way... Now all I need is the measurement of the thing with cp and back off.
