not very helpful but there was a post a while back ,may have been monochi ,detailing tidying up the side art and i remember it been quite a decent job it.

Not exactly what you are looking for but might give you and idea. Barmskii is selling his E2 and has lots of pictures. For example on number 15 you can clearly see some retouching but not on the side art. You might wanna check the rest though...

I've got some bits of side-art I pealed off an egret-II that was resprayed and had egret-III artwork applied you could always cut a strip out and patch it...

It's not bad at all, borrowed pangs polish and did my toenails while I'm at it

You can obviously still see it up close, you're not going to get rid of gouges, I tried putting it on with a cocktail stick to begin with but it was just not moving, so I thought sod it and got the brush out. Looks great from far away, and is definitely a lot better than having nasty white scratches in the sideart.
