Wasn't me, captain - I lack the powah.

Not to worry: I'll keep practising, so you'll hopefully have to edit my entry once again. :awe:

Time for a necro-bump...

I'm keen to participate but currently have none of these new fangled shooters everyone's been playing so this'll have to do for the time being.

I've not played this for a while but here's my best result from earlier today...

Must try harder...

Edit: I've just had another couple of runs at it and managed to knock a couple of seconds off...

I've a bit of a hangover today and not good for much else so I've had a fair few goes this afternoon...

I'm repeating the same mistakes in the same areas but ironing them out slowly. I'm sure I can take another couple of seconds off!

I'm going to have a break from this I reckon until someone else joins in (if someone else joins in!) as the music's stuck in my head and I swear I'll dream of it tonight!...

...must try for sub 7 min run though... agh :palm:

If your in a budget, world rally is a similar game and can be had for £25-30.

But yeah, drift out is a great game and in my top 5 MVS games.

I used to have a WR which I bought for a tenner - I remember it well as it was posted to me in no more than a worn Jiffy bag and the postie had forced it through the letterbox :palm:

It was suicide-tastic I think and had already started to behave a bit oddly from the moment I plugged it in (sync issues on some tv's - it seemed to work fine in my Blast and on my SG with my main LCD but not on my CRT?). It looked like fun but I was only able to play a single lap really before it got screwy and I gave up worrying about it :(

Is NDO still a pain to find at a reasonable price?

I think going rate is prob £60-£70 but it's finding a copy that's the pain.

I got this back in the 4 slot at the weekend and only managed to scrape some tenths of a second off my best time. I just can't seem to get < 7'02"

There are a few sections I can improve on with more practice though. I will get a sub 7 min run!

I'm at the point where just one daft mistake knackers it all up - it's most frustrating when you've had a great run then have a lapse of concentration half way through the last stage and throw it all away. FFuuuuuuuuu...
