Nonworking Gunsmoke classic capcom PCB

Post by capcomguru » October 15th, 2008, 6:28 pm

Taking a shot in the dark here, but what the hell, maybe someone has an answer for me.

I received a capcom Gunsmoke PCB in the mail yesterday. I hooked it up to my classic capcom to Jamma adapter, and I get NOTING when I fire up the cabinet. I know the adapter is fine because commando plays perfect. I can see the monitor is getting some sort of signal (i can see a black box where the video *should* be, and its the same exact size as the raster for commando).

Anyways, I dont' even know where to begin looking on this PCB. Its in absolutely gorgeous shape, however its incredibly trickey to troubleshoot. There are no visible traces... its like there's a layer on top of where the traces *should* be. I'm hoping the custom capcom processor hasn't kicked the bucket, but anything is possible.

Thanks for any insight or leads!

If it's dead I'll give you a tenner for it.
