Tekken 5 / Dark Ressurection

Post by Neo'nate » September 29th, 2008, 12:42 pm

Tekken 5 / Dark Ressurection

Was this game (either Tekken 5 or DR) ever released as a pcb version only, or is this a system 257 game all the way?

Cheers.

And another nooby question from me :)

Would T5DR work on a T5 mobo? The reason I ask is that the Tekken 5 kit is dirt cheap.

I’m hoping you could upgrade to DR when the price inevitably drops when 6 is released.

Yes. I mean, NO!
...now where can I find this cheap T5 kit? :D

System 256 motherboards normally cost more than the T5DR software.

I’ve clearly dreamt this. 75k at fujita for T5DR

For some reason I had convinced myself that the mobo was around 40k :?

What other games use the 256 mobo?

Yes, that is normal price for the motherboard. Would hardly call that cheap! T5DR software is currently ¥28K JPY from starpine/fetarkatight/G-Front or about $250 USD in the Japandeal, while T5.1 is only ¥3K JPY or so.

Sorry about the confusion. I should really watch what I call cheap as I know that 40k yen is not a small amount of money. It’s the 246 that’s cheaper 20k.

I guess it’s all relative, I was comparing T5.1 to the price of a T6 set up or even a VF4FT (Naomi2, GD rom etc) setup.

I get confussed as to what can run on 246 & 256 hardware. Is there a definitve list anywhere?

Is Kinnikum muscle grandprix a 256 game?

TK5 only runs on system 256.

Kinnikuman muscle grand prix 1 & kinnikuman muscle grand prix 2 ONLY works on system 256.
