Someone sent me this screenshot, apparently this was removed from DNB's Instagram story.

I also saw that picture from a discord server, and the cabinet setup is similar to the one at Arcade Galactic, but the latter had it custom-ordered with the Exa Arcadia logo back when Exa Arcadia had no confirmation of dedicated cabinet. The cabinet base is from Fun Company as the owner of Arcade Galactic thought to make Exa Arcadia the standout modern multi-game cabinet.connor wrote: ↑February 4th, 2021, 8:47 pmSomeone sent me this screenshot, apparently this was removed from DNB's Instagram story.

The test product is total coincidence.
[Edit 1]
Upon closer inspection, the additional thing attached to the prototype Exa Arcadia cabinet looks like a marquee that is similar to Neo Geo, as Exa Arcadia cabinet color is strongly red.

Good news.
They're not listed on the JAEPO website, do they have a parent company?

Re: exA-Arcadia
Show Me Holdings seem to be the parent company.
Also the timing of the announcement is quite awkward since JAEPO 2021 is under the world pandemic declaration, which reduced in person audiences significantly.
There will be no super announcements as long as Japanese government declares a lockdown, which has been recently announced. I read some news that formal lockdowns were announced and currently enacted.
The 12 unannounced games will be pushed back until Exa Arcadia sees them fit, as confirmed from chatting with Arcade Heroes.

Am I missing something or are you? It says boldly in the announcement: online/virtual meetings.

Re: exA-Arcadia
I did read virtual online presentations, and I do expect down the line EXA Arcadia would take advantage of that.
However, that does not mean everything gets released publicly, especially when JAEPO is largely a private event this year.
When I posted that announcement onto several discord servers, Arcade Heroes has confirmed, through speaking with the CEO himself, that the announcements is not happening soon.
We can only wait until EXA Arcadia wants to clear things up or announce any of the games as they please.
Let's not get overhyped over this unclear announcement if the announcement is not happening from the JAEPO virtual event itself."

Re: exA-Arcadia
Yes, this is strange. When the crowdfunding campaign started, the PC version was announced to be running in the Vewlix. It's only much later that exA-Arcadia mentions were added. Despite this, there's no exA-Arcadia version as pledge reward. Traditionally, the exA-Arcadia version would sport exclusive features so it couldn't simply be the PC version copied to a cartridge... but there's no mention of an actual exA version of the game beside the "JITSU SQUAD™ VEWLIX ARCADE CABINET with hardware by exA-Arcadia" bit. If there's an exA-Arcadia version planned, it was probably decided too late in the campaign to be included in the rewards. When the campaign started, I remember asking about an exA version of the game without getting any reply...

So many assumptions - also Google Translate is not your friend. It's become so much worse as of late.
