It's definitely an arcade game. However, it's still a rumor that it is a new Daytona. Sega announced their lineup for the upcoming IAAPA (International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions) show. The line up includes:

Target Bravo: Operation Ghost
Let's Go Island Dream Edition
Dinosaur Catcher
Pump the Balloon

and

"a showstopper video game, to be officially announced next week."

 a showstopper game ... Certain games work in certain graphics at certain times ,now granted outrun 2 was good so let's hope they can mimic that type of success

If it's made by Toshihiro Nagoshi, my expectations are high

If made by AM2 or a bunch of their mates in a sister dept in Sega Japan (whoever are **** left): mid-to-high expectations.

Anyone else: 'might as well ignore it' expectations.

Still negative... but only for everyone else trying to get any kind of publicity. For them, the show will have well and truly stopped :D

A show-stopper in this context means that the game will be so awesome, everything will stop while we bathe in its majesty.

Much like Helena's showstopper costume.

What operators have understood over the past 40 years is that with a console port, sales on the new game drops – sometimes not much, sometimes too much
