Arcade games on the TV

Post by Brain_Slug » August 30th, 2008, 1:56 am

I went round my mate's house for dinner tonight; his Missus cooked an absolutely cracking lasagna. Unfortunately, after dinner I had to endure tonight's Eastenders. I was quite impressed though that they have SDF Macross running on the cab in the Cafe. Maybe there's some shooter fans living in Albert Square? :D

neo-geo.com are sad enough to have a thread on this too. It used to be a MVS.

Hurrah, we're as sad as Neo-Geo.com, and within the space of two weeks.

But surely I can't be only one here who's sad enough to try and identify what games the cabs in the background of films and TV shows are running?

It was a thread on the shmups forum where someone else noticed it, I found the episode saved on V+, scanned through it and took a pic. For the record, Eastenders is ****.

As for arcade games on the TV, there was a Manx TT Superbike twin cab in the bar in Neighbours for a while. I have a pic of that saved somewhere too.

hehe, no woman in any country can cook anything properly.

There's a reason men are chefs and women work in school canteens.

His Missus' family are originally from Sicily and her Gran taught her to cook. She makes the most incredible food you've ever eaten.
