Sigma Supergun + RT5X = Pinky/Purple Image?

Post by wonderbanana »

I dug out my Sigma Raijin SG for a fiddle :shifty: this weekend and whilst it ran fine I did notice the image seemed a bit, well, pinky purple. :wtf: For complete transparency I'm not familiar with these at all but I'm assuming this isn't normal.

The set up I was running was follows: SG > RGB Scart JP21/Euroscart Converter > Retrotink 5X Pro > LCD

These are a few selected images:

Now to be perfectly honest, I don't even know what a few of the buttons do on this thing. I did wonder if this dial had anything to do with it? (S-BR):

And on that note can anyone tell me what L-M-H and SY-NO are for?:

Things I intend to try when I get around to it:
  • Purchase direct RGB Euroscart lead
  • Connect direct to CRT TV (No RT5X)
  • Check any connections for green
Any help or ideas appreciated :awe:

Not much of an update but I was chatting with the JNX guy and he suggested pinkish means missing green so to check the connections for green so that goes on the list to check.

Regarding the switches on the back:

SBR: brightness control (only in SVHS)
LMH: Rapid Fire Impulse (1.5/sec, 15/sec, 30/sec)
SY/NO: Sync rapid / normal rapid
