Mame Driving Setup

Post by trev1976 » June 11th, 2018, 10:43 pm

I've been thinking about this for a while but don't really know where to start.

I'd like to play games like outrun, chase hq,scud racer, sega rally and other similar games.

I have a 720p plasma here not doing much and have thought about getting a G27 or G29 and a second hand playseat and building a cheap dual core PC.

Would this all work ? Has anyone done something similar?

I'd really like FFB and a proper shifter..
Thanks

I’m going to do this using
Groovy mame and a pc steering wheel easy...

For more authentic experience
Groovy mame plus jpac and crt monitor

Then you can buy a cab stick it all in a cab

More complicated is to wire a original
Arcade Steering wheel to a pc wheels
USB Controll pcb....

There are threads on internet for this
