Re: Neo SC-19 ... Rust in Piece?

It was advertised as 'some rust damage', I asked about holes due to rust and was advised that it had some on the base of the cab.

It's only upon dismantling that the full extent is revealed.

Re: Neo SC-19 ... Rust in Piece?

That rust's as bad as on my VW Bay.... Completely strip the cab down, taking plenty of pics as you do it, if you have one use an ultrasonic cleaner on all the nuts/bolts fastenings you plan to re-use. Wirebrush off all the loose rust, clean it down and assess how bad the shell is from that point. Y...

Neo SC-19 ... Rust in Piece?

Received a SC-19 from Ronnie yesterday. The Good: Tube is great, lovely picture. Hood is in good shape too. The Bad: 4-Slot is faulty - not sure that we found someone in the UK to fix these, fortunately I already had another 4 Slot. Some ugly dents on bottom corners of cab and some holes too. The Ug...

Re: A new Neo Geo game just announced...

If they are only making 500 carts although I think they may have made more than that (excluding any future production runs). So if they had 2 people working on it full time (that's going to be 85-90% of the cost) they probably won't actually break even. Bearing that they over-run the development tim...

Sven Ruthner (someone who is working on the Wonderswan Game Firelancer), made a few tweets on Cave sprite work, where they didn't always get it right. https://twitter.com/the_ptoing/media https://twitter.com/the_ptoing/status/1070596349559750656 https://twitter.com/the_ptoing/status/1071700380239695...

Re: Ever gotten a highly anticipated game and been disappointed?

Not a big fighter fan but I enjoyed SFIV. Lost interest after all the updates and thought V was crap. I was surprised SFIV got made let alone that it was a success. Love it or hate it, SFIV reinvigorated the genre and many of the fighters released in the last decade wouldn't have been made without ...

Re: Ever gotten a highly anticipated game and been disappointed?

SF 4 - I just disliked that from the start, thought it looked awful and didn't like how it played. I guess I should include SF 5 as well. However I was not anticipating that game, I was expecting it to be as bad as 4. I have very briefly played 5 and it still looks awful and there is nothing to temp...

Re: You've Got Grail! The Valuation Thread

What's the going rate for a Sorcer Striker / Mahou? I'm sure I saw an auction for about £100 or something silly from July.

Was thinking of buying or doing a trade to get a Neo-19 or a SC-19, anyone know what these cabs go for at present?

Silk Hat? What’s is that? It is in the place of the Jaleco logo.
I have no idea, but I hope that bit is kosher.

EEK!

Any ideas if this is the lightbox for the Pony 18 or 25?

My lightbox was completely fabricated from scratch, but if i can get an original one that would be nice.
