Re: Xbox One

This is giving me serious wood now..... so much that I've cracked out 360 FH and been playing that pretty much most days over the past 2-3 weeks.

Rumour has it that's exactly what's in the works, with the release of the latest SDK and Kinect resource free-up.

I bought DR3 over the weekend, so will have to put some time into "loading it up" and trying the DLC.

Re: Anyone stroking themselves over the PS4 launch announcem

To get half decent at a modern guilty gear game in VS takes huge amounts of dedication, practice and effort. I can gaurentee 99% of the people hyped for this will play it for a few days and credit feed the 1player mode a few times then never touch it again.... Not sure what your point is. :D. I do ...

Re: Nintendonintendonintendo!

Good showing although I still think they've ****ed it. 3rd party support is dead and only two (I think that's right) decent games left for release in 2014. Nearly everything was 2015. The presentation was far better than I thought we'd get, but I seriously can't see them shifting the number of conso...

Re: Far Cry 4

Looks awesome and so great to see they're continuing after FC3 (which was a great game and a surprise as such to boot).

Re: Xbox One

Just been bashing the granny out of the Nurburgring track on Forza5. It's pretty much awesome imo. For the Capcom fighting fans, Capcom have now released a DLC pack for Dead Rising 3, called (wait for it): Dead Rising 3: Super Ultra Dead Rising 3 Arcade Remix Hyper Edition EX Plus Alpha  Obviou...

Re: Xbox One

Well... If it's all about the games with XBO moving forward, the conference certainly met that. Plenty of games and good to see plenty coming between now and the end of 2014.

Not sure based on the conference of anything mind blowing though.

Re: Xbox One

The Nurburgring really ruined racing games for me. It may be great in real life or whatever but it's **** to drive round in a game imo. It's second only to giant ovals :problem: You're obviously being serious, so I won't ask "Are you being ****ing serious!?!" I assume you're not into sim raci...

If the game uses DirectX, you can use SweetFX.

I have no idea if Starcraft uses DX though.

Tetsujin,
You need to give us a quick summary of what we need to do to get the best out of this game. ;)

Re: Nintendonintendonintendo!

It's not the "drifting" as I was actually already doing that.... the speed boost you can get utilising the same button at points is useful though. The issue was the level design of the Mushroom Cup - BAD. Playing another cup and it's much better design and certainly more exciting. :shifty:

Re: Nintendonintendonintendo!

so played some MK8 today with my son, it looks and sounds great but somehow ist just :problem: and i don`t even know why  Got to agree with you. May be it will get better with the harder tracks, but I feel the tracks are too wide, you're too slow and that doesn't appear to be any excitement ...

Re: Watchdogs

Whilst I'll happily state my bag isn't really open world gaming, this has been over-hyped and does not (imo) deliver it's original promise. It's a not a bad game, but it certainly isn't great. If you're into open world sand-box stuff...... go with GTA instead. Roll-on Friday for some gaming "fun" (I...

All I'll say is that I didn't get it on the Friday but I did get it Monday!!! So, on Sat morning, I went to Argos, bought the game and then returned the one from Gmae back to Argos. :shifty: A little ...

Re: Nintendonintendonintendo!

I've only ever (personally) had one issue with a pre-order game (and I order a fair old whack of pre-orders) and one almighty **** up on a console pre-order. Vowing never to use them again they put extra points on my loyalty card and £50 cash back - so at least they made good of the problem they cau...
