Why bother? There are plenty of CRT cabs that support 31k.

Buy the Domy, if that doesn't work out for you it shouldn't be too hard to pass it on and get a Chewlix.

Have you tried adjusting the sync on your cab or the TV?
Yes of course.
I have tri frequency monitor and it shows me on video waiting signal and video still out of sync.
Maybe oscillator faulty??
I was referring to the 15k horizontal hold adjustment on the chassis.

Re: Discharging astro city monitor

But it doesn't hurt to do it. It only takes an extra 15 seconds. If you need to watch an instruction video on how to dismantle a cab adding an unnecessary step that may hurt you isn't a good idea. Yes it's a safety measure especially of there are kids that could touch the monitor outside of t...

That would be a good solution. Finding one may be tricky.

Re: Deathsmiles II and JVS to Jamma

Otherwise what is the point of the VGA connector on this converter board?
The SEGA adapter you've got is generally used with a Naomi which can output 15k.

Re: Tosh A68KJU96X Nanao MS8 -> MS9 swap

I've got an ms9 chassis on an ms8 tube and it works fine (as above) but the image is quite narrow. CPS3 for example will not fit the screen. Wider games like CPS2 are fine.

Yes, it's the same tube across various monitors. Only the yoke and chassis differ.

It will fit but the curvature will not match the bezel.

Ideally you'll want to source an A68KJU96X tube.

The cars feel slow at first and the framerate isn't perfect
That's a shame. They're the two most important factors for me. You would also think a game about Sonic would focus on speed.

Re: Where to find that part?

It could be a nut that's welded on to the mount, or a thicker piece of metal that's had a thread tapped in to it.
