Re: DoDonPachi DOJ PCB owners thread. CHECK YOUR BATTERIES

This baking soda is the same as sodium bicarbonate? So I know what to look for in shops, cos I think I got a disaster waiting to happen on my DDP DOJ. Any more info on the "vinegar-route" would greatly be appreciated. For example: whitch type is used. Is it the white, transparent, one or will any ki...

Re: Looking for Aero City help...

I bought a NOS one a month or 2 ago from a nice french guy.
The ad seems to be deleted. It was pricey but hey, a 20+ year old NOS cp surround overlay .....
Seller was Kaneda 56.
And sorry .... mine is not for sale ......

Virtua Striker cab-monitor replacement for NAS

I'm not too familiar with the Virtua Stikers cabs (wood ?), so I was wondering whether this cab

would have a nice monitor in it to save to use in a Sega New Astro cab some day?

Hope you get this sorted Dave.
Can't be of help atm, you've tried more than I would have thought of.
But if you want anything checked on another (my) Aero or chassis just give a me a shout.

Re: Adjusting sound volume on an Aero

Aero doesn't have a volume control. It low tech :awe: I'm sure that there is one on the Mr Driller G, so I imagine there will be a volume pot on 2 Was thinking the same thing .... low tech ftw :awe: Will search the Driller 2 PCB some more for that volume pot. And try some other PCB's to see what's ...

Adjusting sound volume on an Aero

Got my Sega Aero city cab yesterday. Well pleased with it.
But, wow, that thing is loud. Have been looking for the amp/volume knob but no joy.
Any idea's on how to make it a little less loud ?
Was testing it with Mr. Driller 2, couldn't find a volume control on that PCB either.

Re: AW SD

Thanks for answering. Hope to collect my Awave sometime the next few days. Downloaded the Awave manual from hard--candy, and had a glance at the pictures. Looks like I'll keep my astro's tated, maybe mess with the awave later on. Nice to know it runs 31khz through direct vga beautifully, as I plan o...

Replacing a power supply unit New Astro

Yesterdag my psu in my New Astro gave up. It was smoking a bit a had a loud bang, like fireworks. The monitor and game were still running fine at this point. I unplugged the cab immediately. Tested the game right away in an other cab and it seems that it has survived the psu-calamity. Since the cab ...

John James, you're a life saver !
And just go ahead ordering from Yumi, I've ordered tons of stuff over there, together with Figge (the guy from Japan Deal).
I'd be lost without these two suppliers.

Re: How to rotate an Astro city Cab Monitor

But can you confirm you are the person in your avatar?

Just kidding.

Nice contribution the how-to-tate-an-astro manual.

If I hadn't made a hard copy of it a while back I'd be surely missing it today !
