Auto Switching MS9 / J-pac Issue

I have a strange issue with my J-pac and Auto Switching MS9 when trying to switch between 15Khz and 24Khz. I have all my emulator up and running perfectly in 15Khz (Groovymame, GroovyUME etc and CRT_Emu drivers). However the only emulator I am having an issue with is the Model 2 Emu as it looks poor...

Re: Groovymame issue on MS9

I decided to try a PCB in the cab and to my surprise the vertical lines were still there. So I changed the monitor chassis to another MS9-29 chassis and the problem went away. So the problem wasn't being caused by the J-pac or wiring, it was actually an issue with the chassis!

Re: Groovymame issue on MS9

I have tried a few things suggested and unfortunately, so far none have helped. I got a new shielded VGA to go from the graphics card to the J-pac. I ran a ground wire from the ground terminal on the J-pac to the earth point on the cab. I have changed the path of the Video cables to the monitor away...

Groovymame issue on MS9

I have a slight issue with the Groovymame setup on my MS9. Grrovymame is all setup and working fine, but I have some faint vertical line down the screen (Hori) about a third of the way in on the left. They look a little bit like ghosting. I have done everything to try and adjust them out, Gains/Cut ...

Re: GroovyMAME/UME for dummies

Thanks for the suggestion. I don't think it is the cables as I didn't have this issue with my old chassis. Am going to start a new thread on this.

Re: Naomi 1/2 Case Fan replacement.

You have to be careful with the Naomi as a lot of the cheaper fans pass far less air through than the originals 16cu.ft/min.

Naomi 1/2 Case Fan replacement.

The case fan in both my Naomi 1 and Naomi 2 are getting very loud and need replacing. Does anyone know of a good replacement and where it's available. I have looked for the original ones mentioned in the wiki, but can't find them anywhere.

Re: Egret 2 Voltage

It's connected to a J-pac, but I'm not sure if that's drawing any power. I can try with a board, but didn't want to damage it.

Egret 2 Voltage

I tried to adjust the voltage on my Egret 2, but the lowest it would go down to was 5.5v. I could adjust it up i.e. 5.6v, 5.7v, but the lowest it would go was 5.5v. Is there anything I can do? The cab is 100v, but I was told a 110v step down should be fine. I am using on of these:- http://www.maplin...
