Re: Super Nintenbros!

Summer holidays start on Friday. Got myself a WiiU to celebrate. Got it sitting waiting til I walk out of school. Can't wait.

Got Mario Kart 8, Windwaker HD, Hyrule Warriors, Yoshi's Wooly World, Shovel Knight, Mario Maker, New Super Mario Bros U, just need to decide what to play first.

Any idea why it's started randomly putting me in wars when I'm opted out? Keep having to gems heroes to finish them in time or whatnot.

Re: Emergency board repairs

Yes, it could easily be the problem. That first screen is really common as a hang screen when the voltage is off. Normally too low but DON'T JUST BLINDLY TURN IT UP. You really can't get away with not owning a multimeter in this hobby. A cheap made in China job off ebay would be totally fine and it'...

I don't think there's a stock 4P solution and not sure if you're be able to fit one in.

Re: Have I won the lottery? - No

Slug 5 is worth about double I'd say, maybe a bit more. Slug 4 kits are super easy to come across, you can pick them up NOS from ebay.

I'm sure they did. There was that warehouse find with plenty of ones officially converted for european use by Sega.

I loved the first one and thought the controls were fine (played on 360). Spent more hours on it than almost anything else single player this gen. Probably on elder scrolls and borderlands games have topped it.

They're JIS but sure you could get Phillips replacements. Just take one into a hardware shop and find the closest match.

Re: Connecting two CRT monitors versus mode in CPS2?

You may need to amplify the RGB signals although I've seen people run two monitors unamplified without issues. Depends on the strength of CPS2 output I suppose. Would try without and if it's too da...

Only played a couple of hours so far. More or less more of the same with a little better graphics and a few bits of gameplay tinsel I'd say.
