Standart 2P Cab in production ? Would you be willing to explain what that means? You gonna offer a dedicated cab ? Delta-Exa incoming ?
You do know that JBRPG is not part of the exA-Arcadia team, right?

Re: exA-Arcadia

It's quite impressive really the progress of the hardware. Hardware specifications listed seems quite powerful enough for the suggested price. Although it may not be representative of final product, on twitch I noticed the system was able to boot into the game menu quickly from a restart. I did not...

Re: exA-Arcadia

Some of our location test income numbers over 1 week: Aka & Blue 100,000 JPY The Kung Fu vs Karate Champ 60,000 JPY (#1 performing fighter in the whole arcade, outperforming Fighting EX Layer 10x) On average, every game we put on test makes over 35,000 a week meaning an operator can recoup their in...

Re: exA-Arcadia

This is for the operator market and not consumers, period. In the OP it is mentioned there would be collectors editions for home users. Judging from your above comment, it sounds like this idea has been scrapped. Is that correct? These games already have home versions. The collectors editions will ...

Re: exA-Arcadia

This is for the operator market and not consumers, period. If you want to buy it, there is no limitation as an individual to buy it but don’t expect it to be consumer level pricing. No game on the platform is 100% complete, all footage is early. For context, here are recent prices for arcade games....

Re: SFV: Arcade Edition Coming to Japan Arcades in 2019

SF5 is a TypeX4 conversion kit for Magician’s Dead. It’s 300,000 yen for just the HDD upgrade on 1 unit but you need 2 units for 2 players so it’s effectively 600,000 minimum. Taito is also taking 35% rev share and it will not be integrated into Nesica 2. Capcom has nothing to do with the port besid...

Re: exA-Arcadia

Have you been in contact with Bikkuri Software, I think Graze Counter EX would be perfect for the system? Also triangle service always seem to make interesting games, that Pengo multiplayer was insane fun. :awe: An 'in house' development team is one thing that other companies have used to get new s...

Re: exA-Arcadia

I still like the idea of the platform, but if they can't manage to get any notable titles ported to it... it's effectively dead in the water. I don't think that the current lineup can generate any significant income for operators. Funny because every title we have put on test in Japan has performed...

Re: exA-Arcadia

Even if it sold that many copies, we are not taking into account the development and Hardware costs. I remember an interview with CAVE staff saying that DS II was challenging to make. The game was released incomplete to arcades which was a huge handicap as by the time they patched it up, arcades di...

Re: exA-Arcadia

DS2 is the most unsuccessful game in Cave history. Most of those original PCBs broke which was one factor into its failure. I figured as much. We were lucky to see two more releases after that to be honest. At the time I thought it would be the end of them. Whenever I went to play it at an arcade i...

Re: exA-Arcadia

We currently plan to support 15/31kHz at launch.

Aka & Blue Type-R will have full support for both 9:16 and 3:4 - it’s not just letterboxed on 3:4.

Re: exA-Arcadia

"Made for casual game fans not intended for Hardcore Fighting Game players." Not sure how this is a valuable addition to the exA lineup? Fighters have seen declining income for over a decade (even in Japan) and we believe a huge factor is how complex and overwhelming the genre has become. No longer...
