Re: Playing Dreamcast gun games on a Tri Sync Monitor

Thought I would bump this thread rather than making a new one. I have a DC + VGA box and a 31khz monitor (not sure which). Will DC gun games work? I have used the same setup with a 21" PC CRT monitor and it worked fine so I would like to assume that it should work fine with the 31khz monitor as they...

Naomi CP - button allignment and radii

I'm going to CNC mill a new CP for one of my Naomis. I've noticed that player two buttons are rotated anti-clockwise slightly in relation to player ones: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v325/Francoberasi/Naomi%20SD/sf4cp.jpg I imagine this is to do with the player stance? Also, does anyone know wh...

Coin/Money Controls SR3 coin mech, connection for mame

I have a couple of SR3 coin mechs. I would like to use one in a Naomi for mame credits. Is it possible to connect the SR3 directly to an IPAC etc or would I need to use something like the [PcCredit7 board] or the [ccTalk PCI Board]? (<PDF).

Re: My poor Aero Table. . .

Very cool, I've never even seen an Aero table.

You should be able to rotate the monitor. You could just attach some vertical beams to the horizontal ones and then mount the monitor to them.

If it was me I would fabricate a new metal frame using the same principle.

Re: Swapping monitor in Jamma Woody

Thanks Grant. From what I can see there are 6 wires in that relay. Yellow and red that go from the transformer to the relay. A white and black that go from the chassis to the relay and another white and black pair that go to the RELAY marked terminals on the board inside the monitor. So you are sayi...

Re: Swapping monitor in Jamma Woody

I'm not sure what you mean? Can you not just plug the monitor in using the Euro plug? Thats what I have tried but I get no sign of life from the monitor. I can see LEDs on from the board inside the monitor but nothing from the monitor itself.

Re: Swapping monitor in Jamma Woody

Wow, talk about speedy help! :D Just to clarify, the white from the Jamma wants to conenct to both the purple and yellow monitor wires? I may wire the monitor up next to the cab just to test it out before I can mount it in the cab. Will it be ok to extend the Jamma wires>monitor wires by about 1m fo...

Swapping monitor in Jamma Woody (Transformer Q?)

I picked up a couple of the 29" 15khz monitors from the Lok n Store today. One of them is to replace the one in my Jamma woody and I'm going to need a a little a lot of help with it if possible. I bought the Jamma cab a couple of months ago pretty much unseen. The image on the monitor is very blue a...

Dude, if you have no luck my offer still stands. I'm sure postage of my Naomi MB would only be about £5 each way.

AMP connectors, where to buy?

I need to buy some AMP connectors. Where is the best place to get them from and do you need any additional tools to install the pins?

Also is there a standard 'pinout' to connect the AMP connectors to JVS?

Re: Special cp for sega analogue sticks???

I'm making a template tomorrow for one of my Naomi SDs so I can make a 3mm thick Acrylic CP with a polished 3.2mm radius bevel. If you want I could possibly make you a new CP. I have a CNC milled Sega 6 button drilling/routing template, or if you are after a different button layout I could probably ...
