Re: How much does a MS8-29 weigh?

If you don't lift regularly or have fairly good core - then do not risk it!!

I'd imagine lifting the double oven would be a similar feat as tackling a 38" crt and those mofos are heavy and cumbersome.

Large plasma tvs are not so heavy, just akward.

Re: Lindbergh (RED) problem : Error 18 IO Device Not Found

Harley king of road and rambo use jvs baseboard unique to those, if you put baseboard from regular yellow/red you will get error 18. I originally got this error ! and when I changed from yellow Lindbergh JVS I/O error remained My error is not specified in the manual errors This error appeared when ...

Re: Lindbergh Red 7800 Support?

Yes and no.

Yes 7800gs will work fine on red.

But most official red software will give error 07 on the lindbergh boot loader. Down to a simple bitmask flag in the btid.

Red/yellow/blue all share same mainboard, only gfx card, cpu, sound card and jvs baseboard (redex) change.

Both sides are converted from model 2 or older model 3.

One side looks like a usa build.

Re: Lindbergh problem : Error 6 IO Device Not Found

Biggest problem is where the pci baseboard lives, on the factory it is bottom pci slot and the dust and associated crap will just sit there - slowly corroding the pcb. Check the flash rom and see if there is signs of corrosion, sometimes reflowing this will fix it - but its not reliable. Used to be ...

Re: [Tutorial] Naomi CF on normal non-net dimmboard

In theory it is possible to hack the 4.02 firm for non net dimm boards in to a regular bios to invoke it from the test mode and hence avoid having to mess around with tsop flashes.

Well darksoft hotd2 net boot came from me, and if your hotd2 does work via net boot and cf then i am impressed as its does not matter if you use an original naomi or later ones. Fyi hotd2 cart works on all naomi cpu boards except crx versions. Cdr booting has existed since 2006, problem is it only l...

Re: Naomi CF with normal non-net-DIMM

Just got confirmation that you still need to desolder the tsop for the update (again on gamoover's topic). with the recent hacks to the bios we are just seeing the beggining of a lot of new stuff on naomi soon! Exhibit A: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WBbOeNWJasw Lol This is d knutes work (he did...
