Re: CPS-II shells, can they be cleaned?

My green case had black permanent marker on it so I used iso alcohol and those areas got a bit brighter when the marker was gone. So I did the whole thing and it looks amazing

Re: Power supply 400-5261-01x blowing fuse

Upon closer inspection as I was making a parts list I found a blown diode! Zd2 is in half. I took it out and tested it and it gave me .7xx so it’s still good , I put it back in circuit. Now I have somewhere to start looking from

Re: Versus city 4-6 buttons

Yes yes I know that, at the bottom of the versus cab there’s two 10 pin amp up connectors , one for each side. I figured this out yesterday with help from a friend. The previous owner must of taken those out and wired in his own harness that must of worked for him somehow. I took that out and am now...

Power supply 400-5261-01x blowing fuse

The top portion of my versus city power supply is blowing the fuse on power up.
Is this cap related or a volt reg inside ?
It had the thickest layer of dust I’ve ever seen on a psu
And a couple of the resistors/ caps have rust on them :(

Re: Versus city 4-6 buttons

Buttons 4-6 don't work on the Jamma harness at all, that's why you need a kick harness, named after the kick buttons on Street Fighter. Any 6 button game will have a connector on the PCB for those buttons to be directly connected. What you have might be a horrible hack, or it might actually be corr...

Versus city 4-6 buttons

I just picked up a versus city 2 days ago. Taking it apart and cleaning it to bring it in the house and I noticed it missing some small things. One fan up in the winners lamps, the plastic coin boxes , one of the speakers is missing with the plastic amplifier (?) that’s in front of the speaker. I al...

Re: Nvs - 4000 in a NAC

I actually totally forgot to test the service/test/demag buttons -_- lol. I’ll try them out today. One thing I did notice is that the switch on the power supply did nothing :/. The switch on the back of the NAC controlled everything Congrats on the purchase :) You need a specific set of wiring if yo...

Nvs - 4000 in a NAC

I just got my nvs-4000 in the mail and I’m wondering before I tackle this, is there anything I’ll need to make it work? Is it plug and play ?

Shinobi needs a Sega connector to jamma right ? Do you have that connector between the board and the jamma connector for your cab?

Have you tried to make a harness for it?
I just noticed the picture wasn’t uploaded
It has some harness made/attached to it but it’s not jamma

Anyone have a clue as to why this would be labeled “rare”?
