Re: Items you can't afford on Yahoo Japan Auctions

JJ Squawkers: https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/s623669388 Anyone know what the last one sold for on YAJ? I saw this the other day, and did consider bidding. However, having bought far too much other stuff recently already, I'm beginning to think it's probably a suicide mission to even c...

Re: You've Got Grail! The Valuation Thread

Personally, I’d say 800 EUR would be the upper end for a mint Japanese board. A mint one went for 600 EUR about a year ago on shmups…and one sold in the last few months for 94,000-ish JPY (with art) on suruga-ya. Razza also sold one for 600 EUR earlier in the year – although it’s safe to say that on...

Re: You've Got Grail! The Valuation Thread

Bare ketsui pcb price ? I'd say $1000-1100. I saw one sell here for $1000 (I think) last December; one sell for $1050 earlier in the year on Shmups; and there's one for $1100 on Shmups now (currently unsold). At the other end of the spectrum - the crazy, 165,000 Yen copy at suruga-ya also appears t...

Legend had an Asian A+B Battle Circuit for $190 earlier in the year. No idea if it was pheonixed or still on battery...although I was told the label was a repro when I asked about it.

Would be interested myself, if you're looking to sell on here :)

Re: You've Got Grail!?? AKA The Speculate Wildly Thread

madness.... seems i need to give him some extra for the Ketsui  btw. These games were in storage for the last 7 or 8 year, now you know where all the Cave Games are. Just out of morbid curiosity, what does he want for the Ketsui kit now? Still beating myself up for trading my mint Ketsui kit ...

Re: You've Got Grail!?? AKA The Valuation Thread

Interested to hear what the going rate is for Ketsui myself. Long term, it's definitely one I'm looking for.

Think I saw one go for $1050 last year...and there's one on suruga-ya for 160k, currently. So yeah, I have no idea

Re: What is your rarest jamma pcb / jamma kit right now

Arcade releases? Ibara Black Label Deathsmiles Mega Black Label Dodonpachi Daioujou Black Label Mushihimesama 1.5 Matsuri Akai Katana??? (I heard this didn't do so well)? The three that come to mind are Mushihimesama 1.5, Akai Katana Home kit and the campaign version of Dodonpachi. Thanks :) I did ...

Re: What is your rarest jamma pcb / jamma kit right now

Is DDPSDJ really rare though? 350 kits produced according to Shou. There are Cave games that have been produced in smaller numbers. Wow, I had no idea there were so few. Although fairly immaterial in my case, as I don't see myself ever being able to afford it  Which were the games produced in ...

Re: You've Got Grail!?? AKA The Valuation Thread

Could I get price checks on these please: Splatter House - Japan (Namco) Night Slashers (Data East) Splatterhouse is a weird one, because it seems to sell for way more in Japan than it does anywhere else. I paid 450 EUR for one last year...but given that one sold for 380 EUR on eBay last month, it'...

I did see your FS thread, from September (was one of the few recent sold copies I'd seen). Was 220 EUR what yours sold for in the end?

Not very familiar with these carts + boards combo) Cadillacs and Dinosaurs (Case a bit yellowed) Thanks Are you sel...

FAO: Anyone who wants to make some cash stripping a Net City

Basically, I sold a stand-up Net City cab on this forum some time ago, and have run into problems getting it to the buyer. The cab was assembled in my room upstairs and is basically too big to get out the door and down the stairs without being taken to bits. I’m a bit of a technical dunce (to put it...

Re: AWSD Sound issues

I feel really **** about this, Dave. I honestly had no idea the PSU was known to be so flaky

If you want, I'll sell you my 500w 100v step-down for only a tenner shipped (which is half what I was selling it for). But from what everyone's saying, that may well be a waste of time/money :(

Was just wondering if you'd tested anything on it that I had had running - but typically I don't own any of those.
