Re: Atomiswave Sammy Candy Cab (Picture shifts to the left)

Yep. As long as the circuit that handles the drain is functional, you're fine. Go ahead and unplug the cab, give it a couple hours, discharge under the anode cup yourself, twice to make sure. Then its just getting the anode cup off, and you are good to go. Just dont lay an arm or hand across that em...

Re: Monkeyball CP pinout

If you get the chance at all, please document or photo the pinout, harness, and setup you use for this.

I will be doing the same thing soon, with a Sega Analog stick, instead of the super monkey ball banana, and would love to see pics of how you accomplished it.

Thanks!!!

Re: Egret Panel CAD File

I know that I could really use just 3 blank panels, with only the carriage bolts cut. I have an atomiswave, but want to put on some custom art, etc. I would gladly trace or scan my single player w cardreader panel if that helps. If anybody does jump on making some panels, please count me in fo...

Re: Help with Super Neo 29 CPO.

Sorry man...mine was fried, so I scrubbed my cp down to bare metal and sealed it...waiting on doing some custom art. Actually need to find a blank, so I can build a custom 2player panel....

Good luck!

Re: GroovyMAME/UME for dummies

Update to the resolution issue. Problem was with the windows setting. Changed from 32bit color to 8, and windows would display, but mame wouldnt run....switched to 16bit, and now windows boots, and mame plays fine. Just wanted to update in case anyone else had future issues. Will update on the sound ...

Re: GroovyMAME/UME for dummies

So update on my status here. I have tested on the sanwa 29es31, and the weiya 3131, and win xp, even though it says its in 640x480, will not sync properly. Sanwa will display, but is horizontally folded over itsetlf. Will display games an mames gameselect box fine with no issues. Weiya will say disc...

Re: GroovyMAME/UME for dummies

No, will do that tonight. Also going to test the computer on my weiya 3131D tonight, and see if its doubling there too, or if its just the sanwa monitor.

Thank you for the advice on the sound.

Re: GroovyMAME/UME for dummies

Question here ya'll. I have a win xp setup, using Radeon HD 4350 card, with groovy, crtemu, and vmm, all installed, running on a tekken 5 cabs Sanwa 29es31 vga monitor. I boot the cab, and bios appears fine, as well as the windows boot screen, but once it gets into windows, its stretched, and double...

Re: Any love for this AWSD cutom panel design?

Thought about that, or making my own custom coin tray to fit in that slot...but still just don't like the look of the panel. A new one, with new art and a centered stick will be good, and then if I ever have to sell it (god forbid), then the original is in tact.

Re: Any love for this AWSD cutom panel design?

I just can't get behind the large doses of green and orange together. On the lightbar, it's mostly yellow, with just the orange and green at the ends...but that control panel just drives me bonkers. I know it's personal, which is why I'm getting an all new panel rather than patching or messing with ...

Re: Egret/Awsd marquee holder cup washers

I need these too. I would love it if Francob would do another plastics run, and he has kindly told me I will be notified, but in the meantime, finding the screws would let me play with making my own.

Let me know if you find something, please!

Re: Candy cabs - How does one restore the plastic's brightne

For retrobright results, check this thread at KLOV. http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=170276" Zitt goes over the use of Retrobright, clearly shows the results, and continues to own the cabinet without issue as far as I'm aware. We discussed the cab at the last Texas Pinball Festival, ...

Any love for this AWSD cutom panel design?

http://i.imgur.com/jPxiWlm.jpg" Just thought I would get the opinion of the folks on here. I have an AWSD, but I hate the card reader on the panel, and am going to have a new panel made. I like the more classic Egret II look, and wanted to make a similar styled overlay for my new panel. Obviously it...

chassis help

So I got a Wei-ya 2929 to replace the 2931 i necked. problem is the 2929 chassis is HUGE by comparison.

Anyone with advice on fitting this into a Atomiswave SD cabinet? As it stands currently, there is no room to attach the vga cable and have everything fit properly.

Re: Question about converting sanwa 29es31 monitor

Gotcha. I appreciate that. They made several models of the 2929 chasis I got as well, so I am sure i will be looking through those for whats compatible soon too. I know mine is 30-50khz, but they make a model thats 15-50Khz and I will probably look for one of those too. I am just going to accumulate...

Re: Question about converting sanwa 29es31 monitor

Gotcha. I meant like a full breakdown. Wei ya 3129a good with these, b good with those, c good with that group over there. That list is helpful, thank you, but I am looking for something more in depth. What makes the a/b/c/d chassis different from each other. Same for the sanwa's and the other model...

Re: Question about converting sanwa 29es31 monitor

Ok. got it. So the rodotron 666A or the wei-ya 3129a would work.

Thanks for this.

I wish there was an easy place to go for all the information about the different versions of a particular chassis.
