Aero City big project ahead

A few weeks ago I got this, it cost me $60 :D , I just wanted the Crude Buster and the dead CPS2 PCB inside but the seller told me that he wanted to get rid of the whole thing ASAP otherwise he was about to leave it on the street for someone to pick it up. I need advice from the experts here about w...

Can't turn up the contrast, bleeding colors

I was making some tests with an arcade chassis that I just bought, until I forgot to connect the ground cable that goes from the tube to the yoke board while I was swapping the chassis into one of the compatible tubes that I have laying around, needless to say that the signal deflection IC got fried...

Re: Seimitsu LS-30 switch replacement

Success!!, I took a couple of LS-32 Matsushita switches that I had lying around, I swapped the levers and they fit perfectly on the LS-30, it seems that we have nothing to worry about since these Matsushita switches can be bought on practically all online stores.

Seimitsu LS-30 switch replacement

I have 6 Seimitsu LS-30 Rotary sticks that I want to replace the micro switches because just today I found that some of them feel a bit unresponsive (I have these sticks for years but never used them) I can't open the switches up to clean them inside because they are secured with rivets, does anybod...

Re: Astro control panel drill new holes

I have been thinking in the games that I have that require 6 buttons and I found that I don't have that many, Street Fighter 2 HF and Suiko Enbu, Power instinct 2 is a 4 button game, and I already have a Seimitsu 2L12B so I think I will not be drilling these after all, at least until I get more 6 bu...

Re: Astro control panel drill new holes

I think you need to drill a tiny hole first, then you "install" this thing and work the hole from there using the hex wrench  . As a shmup player I weep a little inside. I own the seimitsu one with the straighter layout, but wish I had the other so I could mount my precious 56's and use...

Astro control panel drill new holes

Yesterday I got these two 2L6B control panels from codecrank, I'm very happy with them since both are actual "sega" panels instead of the "licensed by.." ones, My intention was to leave them original and not ruin them by drilling holes because modded 2L6B panels never look like original 2L12B ones, ...

Re: Semi Flat tube, need a new chassis

Mine is a 68 tube, so I think it's a 29"/27", I'll try to measure the windings with an Inductance Meter, problem is I have no idea where to get a chassis for it, since this monitors with semi flat screens seem to be a bit rarer than the curved Toshibas found on most candy cabs.

Semi Flat tube, need a new chassis

I'm looking for a new chassis to fit into this monitor that was pulled from a candy cab which I don't know the model/brand, only the tube on its metal frame was sitting on the floor in the warehouse with its original chassis removed, it is a semi flat tube, I don't know the brand either since the st...

horizontal Range N/W? Side Compression

I have this weiya 828H model chassis which I have it connected to a Panasonic 27" tube, albeit the picture quality is good there a small "compression" (I don't know how to better describe it) on the right side of the screen, Looking on the instructions diagram I have seen these pins named "N" and "W...

Yes, it seems that Sanwa stopped production for those a few years ago so they aren't going to get a restock, I'm still waiting for a refund.

The Sega Swing is a Candy Cab?? those were pretty common in my hometown, I remember playing the Spiderman game in one of those, they are quite ugly though.
