Re: Trading my Pony MkII 19''

Trading for a Sega city I can understand the reason behind that, but a Candy 18???? that and the Capcom cute are the most overrated and overpriced pieces of **** joke of what an acceptable small cabinet should be, its like trading an Aston Martin Vantage for a Datsun 280ZX

Re: Ms9 vertical hold

Ok, i have meassured B+ and adjusted it to 75.1 so I guess that should be fine, picture borders are straight now, although that didn't fix the screen from rolling, I have checked caps on vertical section and all seems to be fine, I've read here that LA7853 could be the culprit, I will try to change ...

Re: Ms9 vertical hold

Tonight I tried to give this another go, I have been told that it might be voltage problem, what I have found so far is that if I turn the B+ counter clockwise the picture stays stable, but borders get all scrambled, I put it again on the previous position and picture starts to roll vertically again...

No, it could also mean that the other 2 values are low, you will need to adjust Blue and Green cut offs.

Who sells serviced MS8/MS9 chassis??

I'm tired of sending these for repair just to get them back working for a few days until they break again, so I decided to try a different approach, which is buy new units that are already serviced and working, I need to sell my cabs and customers ask for working machines, can't sell them with a non...

Re: Neo 25 Toei to Nanao ms9

Correct me if I'm wrong but the Toei has a yoke from a 25" tube and the MS-9 has a yoke from a 29" tube, right? And this should answer your question btw. :awe: That's not entirely correct, Nanao MS8-25FTB, MS8-25FA and MS8-25FAR have 25" tubes/yokes, but all of them are compatible with MS9-29's or ...

Ms9 vertical hold

While I finish to troubleshoot the other chassis I installed one of my spares for the meeting I will be hosting this weekend, installed the spare one no problem but it seems it has a vertical hold problem, I don't see any v.hold pot on these MS9 chassis, is there a way to tweak this? Assuming there ...

Re: Locating stuff on Yahoo Auctions Japan

Thanks, I have bought those from LV in the past, I can also make it myself, but I'm looking for an original Sanwa/Seimitsu one, I have tons of boards that use extra buttons and with the color scheme of the OG. harness I find it easier to follow when I need to switch pins on the AMP plug.

Re: Locating stuff on Yahoo Auctions Japan

Thanks, but I'm looking for the harness that plugs directly to the buttons with quick disconects which comes from under the cp AMP 12pin conector.

Faulty zenner diodes on the neckboard on both chassis, on the first one the screen adjustment is either too high, or no video signal.

Re: Best version of Pandoras box

6 is the best as it has a Quad Core CPU, it can run Mortal Combats, Nba Jam and Rampage WT, you can't do that on previous versions, but overall they are a screen tearing fest.

Re: Tosh A68KJU96X Nanao MS8 -> MS9 swap

I've got an ms9 chassis on an ms8 tube and it works fine (as above) but the image is quite narrow. CPS3 for example will not fit the screen. Wider games like CPS2 are fine. I'm not sure about this, I swapped the the h.s pin to the wide position then adjusted the "h.size limit" pot a bit and all of ...

Re: Crude Buster / Data East Region ?

It's also the best beat 'em up of all time. Not sure about that, the game suffers from random changing priorities on the hit/hurt boxes for both the main characters and enemy attacks depending on the stage and difficulty settings, it seems that it has some sort of ranking system, the Md version see...
