Neato. Thanks, dude.

That's about twice what I paid you for it in the first place, IIRC. :) A nice profit, to be sure, but I'd be happy with £100.

Time to go create a sale thread, methinks.

Re: It's for free!

Some crap I don't want. All untested and goes to the first person to pay for postage (Royal Mail prices) or picks them up. I can post internationally, but ask for postage prices as these quote are only for the UK. First class postage is available, but obviously costs more. I'm willing to post these ...

Re: What's it worth?

I'm looking to shift my remaining cab (yeah, I still have one), so am wondering what it's worth. Specifically: am I aiming too high if I ask for £100? Or would I be best selling off the good bits (controls and such) and scrapping the metal and plastic parts? It's some sort of Frankenstein's monster ...

Re: What's it worth?

My cabs and a lot of associated stuff have to go, so I was wondering if any of you could help me price them. I understand that a lot of these items -- especially the two cabs, given their condition -- will most likely be "whatever someone is willing to pay" (which is fine), but some ball-park figure...

Re: I'm just not feeling it...

I can't be the only one who doesn't like Street Fighter surely? Nope; I don't like it, either. Then again, I don't really like fighting games. Except BlazBlue . And Tekken . And Mortal Kombat . ...And Skullgirls looks great to me. :awe: I seem to like the fighting games "proper" fighting-ga...

Re: I'm just not feeling it...

Guwange and ESP Ra.De . I first came across them a few years ago when a friend was introducing me to bullet-hell games available in MAME. I really liked DonPachi and DoDonPachi , so figured I'd like these, too. Nope. When Guwange was released on the XBLA a while back, I handed over my 800 MSP, grab...

Are we allowed to leave feedback for this free stuff? I guess this counts as feedback, which is fine by me. :)

Re: It's for free!

I'd quite like the Sanwa thingummabob 8-) According to the Royal Mail site, it should cost about £1.20 to post it first class. PM me your address and I'll send it out on Monday. I might go for the Naomi manual if postage is low, thanks. The manual weighs about 400g, so postage (within the UK - you ...

Re: What's it worth?

I'm clearing out most of my MVS stuff, but can't find recent price-checks for the following games. Can anyone help me out? All games are cart-only, legit and English-labelled (unless otherwise noted): King Of Fighters '96 - Good label. Metal Slug 2 - Good label. Metal Slug 4 - Japanese label , with ...

EDIT: Everything has been claimed. Thanks, guys. Here's a repro Astro City one-player panel overlay. No idea who made it, I just got it in a box of stuff from another member here. http://www.aypok.co.uk/photos/selling/20130404/tn_IMAG0872.jpg The protective sheet is peeling away at the ends (see her...

Nice blog. I especially like the mod on your old Commodore monitor (I wish I found stuff like that!) and the stuff for your Amiga.

The boss was out of the office for most of the day, so I spent a little too long reading your posts instead of working. :D

I'm not the biggest fan of the NES (my allegiance is to the SMS, as you may know - we've met on Sega8bit, after all :P), but it'll be nice to see this back up and running. :)

Re: The All New "What Games Are You Playing?" Thread

I'm not a fan of any stealth games. MGS2 was that last time I had the patience for that genre. Funnily enough, I usually dislike stealth games, too - I find them too restrictive and boring. I generally prefer run-and-gun blast-a-thons ( Painkiller being the best example of such a game), so I do und...

Re: The All New "What Games Are You Playing?" Thread

I read up before buying, you don't get penalised for going in all guns blazing. You get the option of out and out stealth (boring as hell) or go in to kill. Technically, yeah - it is a viable play-style. Personally, I find the stealth aspect -- and non-lethal gameplay -- more fun because it's so mu...

It comes with a Blu-Ray drive (double speed!), so I'm guessing they're sticking with that for this generation.

Given that they didn't announce much we didn't already know: not in the slightest.

It's a normal computer running some different software? Yeah no; I'm sticking with Steam on my desktop.
