Re: Nanao MS-2930-S contrast improvement tips?

You have to adjust the H.S.L pot on the chassis. It stands for Horizontal Size Limit. It's second from the right in the pic.

Re: Nanao MS-2930-S contrast improvement tips?

Possibly? Can you access the game specific operator menu with these usually?

I had a Pandora's Box 3 for a while. And the video output on the thing was smeary as all hell. If you have any legit board, I would use that. Most boards can display some kind of grid.

No user manual that I know of.

You have to pull up the convergence grid from a game. CPS2 is my favorite for color bars and grids.

Re: Nanao MS-2930-S contrast improvement tips?

Amazing info thankyou mate, do I have to take the monitor out to adjust or is it possible to leave it in whilst adjusting. I would take it out, but it can be done with the monitor inside the cab. It's just not very fun. What do you use to adjust, thanks again buddy. Well, a trimmer tool with a plas...

Re: Nanao MS-2930-S contrast improvement tips?

All the pots are on one side of the chassis. There's two pots for pincushion adjustment, S.P.C and S.P.C 15. http://tof.canardpc.com/view/dd0bace2-bc54-4000-8aea-758fa345c50f.jpg In the above pic, S.P.C 15 is the third pot from the right. There's also S.P.C to the right of the circled pot. Both have...

Re: PVM 2130QM flyback

What do you mean it's noisy? Do you mean interference in the screen or actual audible noise?

If it's the latter, are you sure it's the flyback making the noise?

Personally I would never replace the original flyback out of these unless it was faulty.

Turned out Wells Gardner K7000, my friend said it’s 17inch.
That's 19" European, or 48cm. Very popular in American and European upright cabs.

Re: exA-Arcadia

If players post speed runs on how to beat the game, that actually DECREASES revenue as players will know how to clear the game faster and will be on the machine for 20+ minutes at a time. This is an operator first policy to maximize their investments and to bring other operators onboard. There are ...

The question is why does it have a third wire when you only expect two?
Isn't that just the wire for the anode? It starts white and then turns red after a while. No idea why.

Re: Any PCB shops left in Japan?

Technically, it's 22 euros for merchandise, 45 euros for gifts here. I'm pretty sure it's the same for everyone in the EU. The values will slightly differ depending on the VAT rate (we have 24%). The limit is 160 euro with us. I see, you're confusing customs duty with VAT. They're two different thin...

Re: Any PCB shops left in Japan?

It depends on the value. Just write a lower amount when it's you who sold it. Yeah, your customs is pretty lax in Sweden if you can pull of things like that. In Finland the tax limit is 45 euros including shipping, anything over that will be taxed. Doesn't matter if it's you you're sending it to. I...

Yeah, that won't work. No normal TV set will sync to medium res.

Either plug it in to a dual res arcade monitor or use a GBS-8220 converter.

Re: HOD Sega model 2 wiring diagram Power Up

Probably because it's not syncing. 15khz =/= 24khz.

Again, what monitor are you connecting it to? A regular TV? An arcade monitor?
