Re: You've Got Grail! The Valuation Thread

How about you try selling it for the price you paid then?

Re: FS: Street fighter 3 Third Strike Full Setup

I replaced batteries on two carts with the cart powered on. Not saying that's how you should do it, but it's one of way of doing it.

Re: FS: Street fighter 3 Third Strike Full Setup

Nice price. Cart has been cut out so that it is easier to [...] change battery. But you'll still have to unsolder the leads from the other side :eh: I think the cart might have had a battery holder at one point, which would explain the cut casing. What's the deal with the candle wax? What kind of wa...

Re: Namco System 10

So I understand that this gives you the ability to use JVS cabinets but aren't all those 31khz? Net Citys are tri-sync. Cyberleads too I guess. As for the 48-pin connecter, Mr Driller G probably doesn't benefit from it, but for any fighting game that uses more than three buttons (like Tekken), that...

I've been thinking about this one. Since the arcade stick that looks like a VSHG has a new design for the control panel, what are the chances that the internals are also something like in the mini itself?
I would be surprised if they went to the trouble of redesigning the internals.

You can buy new LS-33 sticks again nem! :)

How weird! Seimitsu makes no mention of it on their site.

Definitely not the -01. That wasn't available then.

I thought these had some other Seimitsu in them though? I want to say the LS-33? Something that isn't manufactured anymore.

Re: For Sale: Darius Burst AC EX Cab

Amazing price.

It splits in to two pieces really easily (monitor section and the bench). It's like a 20 minute job doing it by yourself. It will go through narrow(ish) doorways afterwards.

Re: Sega Dreamcast Mini (?)

Would love a Saturn mini but tricky emulation, misplaced source code and the console being a bit of a flop in the west means there's no chance. Tricky emulation is a misnomer. Maybe if you need 100% compatibility, but the thing needs to only work with a handful of hand picked games. Sega had a work...

Maybe. The coin mech seems to have a ribbon cable. I've no idea where that plugs into. Maybe I'm missing a board.
Correct. The ribbon cable would attach to a credit board.

You do understand that the guy mentioned Sega's first and last entries in to the home video game business. So in reality, it could be anything.

What a stupid article. I regret clicking on it.

You just need CN7 (+5V) plugged in for the IO to work. The wiring harness runs down the left leg to the PSU.

Maximum is just roster updates and the inclusion of Hot spots. Maybe people think hot spots are an unnecessary feature?

I think the point was that the Hangtime series is better than Jam series. Which I absolute agree with it.
