You can tell a fake easily :) I can at least!

The Capcom ROM stickers are either silver with their print, or white with a silver coating underneath. Slight scratch will show the silver.

It's not very mini either, it's a square foot. It's the viewing angle that boggles the mind.
Just need a shoulder harness (sold separately) to keep it at eye level. No big deal.

I have a copy for Switch, I've not seen the second level yet. 1st boss kicks my **** and there are no checkpoints, straight back to the beginning of the level on each life.

I may be doing something wrong. Looks, sounds, plays gorgeous.

Re: Converting a JP Lindbergh to 240V

You should be able to get that contractor from RS for cheap, they are very common in machine control panels or you can just swap the coil for a 240 volt one, that’s the part that melted. That's what I was hoping to do, but the Mitsubishi part is NLA everywhere apart from surplus/used places. Findin...

All done. Moved the wires from here:

To here:

And attached an IEC lead here for powering a PC internally. Earthed to the post between the filter and contactor.

Re: Converting a JP Lindbergh to 240V

The smell doesn't half linger, especially clinging to hair. Good point, but sorting out the audio PSU and 12v for instruction strip is more purchasing, fitting and selling bits, and even though it's probably pointless I'd like to keep the internals JVS ready. I can always pick up another internal st...

Ohhh just move the switch wires into the terminals? Genius! Ping me your PayPal if you want some beer money :awe:

My stepdowns were ~£50 shipped, I don't feel too bad about that.

Re: Seimitsu LS-32-01 40th Anniversary Edition

Take a look here. It's a sticker over an original Taito spec mounting plate... https://www.arcadeworlduk.com/products/limited-edition-40th-anniversary-seimitsu-ls-32-01-ms-e-arcade-joystick.html Meaning you can't do full maintenance on it without ruining the sticker, if you ever decided to apply it ...

Re: Converting a JP Lindbergh to 240V

What about the instruction strip cold cathode and JVS? Isn't the JVS powered from the Sun PSU? I didn't realise it was optional. You're probably right, the sensible way is probably just to do away it, it doesn't half make a bang when it's powered on (I was warning my partner whenever I was going to ...

Re: Converting a JP Lindbergh to 240V

Cheers geotrig - I've hunted around. Simplest is eBay from China for a new one, they are £18 shipped. Cheapest is Radwell USA eBay who have an 80% sale at the moment, but clearly their shipping calculator is wildly off  I'm not in any hurry, I've pinged them a message about it. I need two and w...
