Re: Any MVS-U4 Owners Out There

Hi everyone, I have an MVS-U4 (25 inch monitor) currently in transit, and it needs the following things in order to be 100% up to snuff: - New sheet of glass. - Speaker replacements I'm in need of the dimensions for the glass as well some recommendations for upgraded speakers. Any and all suggestion...

Re: egret 29 restore

I'm in the middle of an Egret 29 refurb myself, and I'm doing my best to keep everything as original as possible. I'm interested to see what you're able to come up with as a finished product here. I would recommend making any modifications reversible if you can though. As an owner, I'm sure you're a...

Re: How many cabs have passed through your hands?

2x Mini Cute
2x Aero City
1x Blast City
1x Astro City
1x Egret 29
1x Egret 2
1x Cyberlead

I've had a number of wood cabs and pinball machines come through my hands over the years, but I think that's all as far as candies go.

Edit: Forgot to add 1x Aero Table

Re: US SNK Neo Geo MVS cabs? (Big Red)

You cannot rotate a monitor in a Big Red. Even if you could, it would be such a hassle that you wouldn't want to do it more than once.

Re: Jamma harness install in classic cab?

Thanks for the info. Think it's worth buying a JAMMA harness and giving it a go? Worse case scenario is I end up with an extra harness I suppose.

Re: Jamma harness install in classic cab?

So I finally got around to snapping some photos of the inside of my cab. I know you said the tube doesn't matter, but a picture of it managed to sneak in anyway. Let me know if my pictures help, and whether or not I need to take a picture of something else. http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j204/bea...

Re: Jamma harness install in classic cab?

Just a thought: why not go for a Donkey Kong Jr. PCB. Won't cost you more than the 60in1. Btw: DK-panel only has one "fire"-button... I already have a DK Jr. pcb installed, but the picture and audio go in and out with the slightest bump due to the hacked up wire job (it's brutal). I looked into the...

Re: Jamma harness install in classic cab?

Bummer. If I take a picture of the back of the monitor that has the identification sticker would you be able to tell me whether or not it would work? Most likely. Just make sure to take a picture of the chassis (the tube doesn't matter). :) PS: Imo all people who turn DK cabs into Jamma machines sh...

Jamma harness install in classic cab?

Hi everyone! I'm sorry if this is a pathetically noobish question, but I was hoping you guys would be kind enough to help. I currently have a DK Jr. upright cab that's a wiring nightmare. The previous owner hacked away, going as far as hooking up a doorbell as a credit button (puke). Looking at the ...

Re: a 2nd opinion if you may - does this look like a repro?

I just ordered 2 single play panels and the spacing is the same, I think it is a real panel. :) Do you mind posting a link as to where you ordered from? I have an E2 with an official panel, and the button spacing is awful. I would love to get an official panel with better spacing. *wonders if you'l...

I bought one off eBay around 6 months ago for $70, but I think I got a pretty deal on it. I would guess it's worth $90 or so.

I still need some help with a price on a Haunted Castle PCB with marquee.

I don't think it's been mentioned yet, but the SNK Candy 26 also has a rotate mechanism. Sexy looking cabs I might add.

Re: My poor Aero Table. . .

It's a 25" (US) Sega monitor, which is the same size of the Daytona US monitor so I would assume it's the same one. Can anyone else chime in? I would think it would fit just fine, and at $100 I can't really complain. I'm going to gut that cab and put it out of it's misery. My God those things are ho...

Re: My poor Aero Table. . .

Aren't the monitor mounts all on the sega frame? If you get a 26" sega monitor replacement with a frame (I think that Daytona USA and a few other racers are the same type), then it should just drop in nicely on the metal brackets that the wooden bars are currently bolted to. Any idea if the monitor...
