Re: Sigma Arcade Cabinets
I recall some Pony IV's with Sigma branding. I cannot find any pic's to confirm but maybe someone remembers? In my head I want to say Jaleco gave the molds/rights to Sigma when they left the cab market...I also could have been heavily sedated when learning all this(there was one FS: in 2014 that I p...

Re: How do you work on your monitors?
I remove the monitor and put it on a similar height table or bench. There is enough slack in the cable and remote(for cabs that mount the remote other than the CRT frame). The Impress and Windy can't do this due to the frameless design. Below is not the best, but I had limited space constraints. (ex...

410 uses stock Sega CP's. 2l12p and just use some button covers and you're set.

Is a vid cap possible? But I'm still thinking it's the A-board...be a waste to troubleshoot other crap before swapping with a known working mobo. You have a volt meter?GillArcade wrote:... flashing during intro and gameplay.

Re: Issue with cps2
No sound and video issues...I'd first say try another A-board. Is this your only game? Test mode color bars or grid also do not make the screen "flash"? Is the flash like blooming brightness? Does the flash relate to the on-screen graphics, like when a lot of brighter colors during the intro? When y...

Re: Konami Windy II Vs Sega New Astro City
You have the luxury of a buying choice on candy? Lucky. I just buy what I can get round these parts. NAC is common and loads of help available if you have issues, plus the CP is more common to track down if you need a replacement. I've only messed with the Windy 1 and the chassis is mounted to the c...

Re: Fitting ms2930 chassis on ms2931 tube
If you have the metal chassis base form the 2930, you could ghetto attach it to the 2931 frame. I've unbolted and slid one of the two rear frames that you mount to the chassis too, to accommodate the different base mounts before. Not perfect, but it stays put. Zip ties also work in a pinch to keep t...

... I don't really know of anyone else offering a service I was hoping Lemony Vengeance might be able to help...even if just sourcing connectors at a cheap price. I'm with Crows on this, I could use two CPS2/3->that-10pin-header-thing on the Namco JVS/JAMMA board. I'd hate to hack off perfectly fin...

Re: Cyber Lead, River Service JAMMA2JVS, and Street Fighter 2 (and Gals Panic 2/JAMMA in general)
Are you running the pair of Cyberleads H2H? Or do you have 2P CP's on both? Like others have said, run the USB cord directly from the RiverService thing to the JVS I/O under one CP for testing(skipping the hub in the rear, I think someone called it a "NTSC board"). If the RS JAMMA convertor does not...

Re: Just got my first candy (Blast City), could use some hel
Hmmm...Chi-town+Blast+recent...sounds like a Windy sale. If you looking for JVS, he has two System246 I/O's FS: that would (should?) give you JVS support for stuff like Naomi. For cleaning, I use simple windex and goo gone...lot's of elbow grease. I do not bother with paint touchups since I drag my ...

The screen looks like this as soon as it turns on then fades to nothing http://imgur.com/hwu8WBs" Video signal out of sync. I agree...some wire is not right on the video. You should head the boot chime. You can use a computer monitor and set the Naomi to hi-rez as another test. Also double check th...

Re: Sega Naomi Help
And test volts from the white plug that powers the Naomi. On my MvC2 setup with a Capcom I/O, I had freezes and lockup until I up'd the volts from the PSU. You do not see the Naomi logo and starting chime when it boots? If it's in 31khz, you'll get a double image on a CRT set to 15Khz. You had 3S in...

Thank you for this. I recently got Kinnikuman 2 and have fumbled around a bit, but this will help me get the most of out if. First off, some advice: -Don't mash. Yep, that is what I did to get some "cost effective" Cave running.bartre wrote: A padhack box wired to the buttons and using the VGA input on the monitor would be simple enough.

I helped a fellow NC brother out, and got the MS2930 in question up and running. End of the day, a cap kit got it looking sharp again. https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-Q8zoJ4mpLwU/VPJpRTEUPAI/AAAAAAAAHVQ/mN0a_lXdHmQ/w496-h661-no/IMG_20150228_171251.jpg Did some more tweaking with the color and it'...

Re: Color/black adjustment on Blast City
Have you visual inspected the monitor chassis? As in, take out the CRT and put it on a workbench? If the cab was shipped to you working, and after transit it has issues, we can only assume something during the travel got loose, bumps or broke off. Does messing with the "screen" on the flyback have a...

Used some old boxes and cut'em up to make some virt shelves. At least it keeps boards off the floor.
