Re: Espgaluda Scoring

You get points for lives left at the end of the game, so it’s not worth losing a life for a few extra gems. Those super players are a different level to most people. I watched one earlier and on stage 1 he hit nearly 4m points, if I get 1.6m it’s a good run! You're right, don't expect to be able to...

Re: Espgaluda Scoring

Don't suicide. Get to the highest Kakusei Over Mode level as quickly as possible. Keep playing in Kakusei Mode until it starts Over Mode and stay in it until the blue circle has fully filled a couple of times and dissapeared. This means you've reached the highest level of Kakusei and you'll recieve ...

MAK still exists I believe. At least their website does and they have an address listed on google maps

I just recently purchased a pcb from Tops too

https://www.tops-game.jp/

Not sure if they have a physical location though
Nope, Tops doesn't have a physical shop, mailorder only.

Looks like this game was based on the movie The Poseidon Adventure.

Re: You've Got Grail! The Valuation Thread

I paid 700 usd for mmp about 7 years ago iirc. Pcb, artwork and a mint cave box. Bought from hk-legend. Bought it for €600 at MAK, PCB, artwork and box in 2008, no shipping costs or customs (customs were closed at the time of arrival back home...lucky me). I wanted to buy Pink Sweets, but they didn...

Re: Cave and a desert island

Why? Not trolling here, just interested in your opinion. I like the music better and I think the scoring system is much nicer. But the most important reason for me is that Mushihimesama feels like an epic journey that has a logical build up to the climax whereas Mushihimesama Futari feels more rand...

Mushihimesama.
Nice choice, I have always prefered Mushihimesama over Mushihimesama Futari.

Ordered the MVS Collectot's Edition. The Megadrive version looks fantastic, can't wait to play it on the MVS.

Re: A new Neo Geo game just announced...

I think one cart is roughly €50 in production max? Kind of irrelevant to say that since all products you buy have low production costs, otherwise nobody would ever make a profit on it. Also you have to consider the time spent on development, which is quite a lot with a game like this, so you're als...

Re: A new Neo Geo game just announced...

I think €450 is a bit much, but even Xeno Crisis costs between £199 and £269 for an MVS kit (depending on the version). Development and the resources from which the games are made aren't free and saying old MVS games can be dead cheap doesn't mean new games should be cheap as well.
