Re: Sega Astro City Mini

Sold.

If it can play Virtua Fighter, it might be a bit more meaty than the current Minis.
Retroarch should run pretty well ;)

Re: Super Nintardbros!

Looks fun, one to pick up for sure  8-) Mainly playing Dead Cells on the switch still at the moment. Took a while to get the first boss cell but it seems relatively easy to reach and beat The Hand of the King on every run with no boss cells selected now. Reaching the Hand of the King with ...

Re: Super Nintardbros!

I'm currently enjoying Missile Dancer (jp e-shop).
It's not the hardest shmup but the chain scoring mechanic is a lot of fun and the main driver for playing.
No online leaderboards. Hopefully something to come in the future.

Search for rubber matting and you'll find it.

Pony foot grip replacement

I'm in the process of getting my Pony fixed up after a few years of not being able to play it  I cannot find the the thread, but I believe someone found a pretty close replacement of the rubber foot grip of the Pony MK II. If anyone can link to any places, it would be appreciated. Thanks. I hop...

Don't toss the deflection yoke and convergence rings away. Someone can use those.
Cheers Nem, Yeah I’ve stripped everything off the tube now
Could I trouble you for the 4 pin frequency connector? Mine has melted a bit on my tube!

Thanks

Re: Japanarama Cab Sales to include Canary - Update 9/06

Ouch. Bad day indeed :( Mark did this to his Pony. They are super awkward to get in and out. Scares me half to death when I rotate it. Did you get the second chassis serviced? I would be interested in buying it if it's the MS8-25f chassis and working. I'm also interested in the frequency connector t...

Re: You've Got Grail! The Valuation Thread

Does the pig still work? Mine died years ago. As for the price: ookitarepanda has been trying to track public CAVE sales: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1MzjqCu4OepzJlQ7oKZRNKxng57E0uhGMRwpSds6_pwg/edit#gid=1315003173 Thanks. From that spreadsheet, it is hard to gauge what a kit is now wort...

Re: Nintendo Classic Mini: Super Nintendo Edition :awe:

Guess it will have those awful short controller cables, like the Nes mini.. Still, I have ordered one, hope someone hacks it quick to add more games. :) I did read somewhere that the cables were longer this time around. Hopefully that is true. The first thing I did was get some extension cables on ...

Re: MS8-25 issues - Horizontal jumping

Thanks for the replies. The pot is sealed if memory serves me correctly.

Unlike the Egret 2 chassis, it is a bit trickier to get this one out. I was hoping someone may be local and could do the whole thing.
I will message Grant if I cannot find anyone near.

Thanks fellas,

Dave

MS8-25 issues - Horizontal jumping

I've had issues with my Pony monitor for some time and I would really like to get it sorted. The horizontal size of the picture jumps intermittently. Often if the machine is jolted (perhaps with a heavy hand on the joystick) it will go from a normal size to about 30 percent bigger. Sometimes it will...
