Re: Kawasaki Warehouse

Yes, it's certainly one of the best I have visited - being a modern building there was quite a bit of open space in the main areas that created a really chilled out vibe.

Although not shown in the video, they had multiple machines for all the latest releases and a interesting classics selection.

TX2 - GeForce 7900 & Elsa Gladiac GT SP , Metal Caddy

Hi, Taito X2 - Elsa Gladiac GT SP - for use with CyberDiveretc. £35 posted. Regular GeForce 7 series GS7900 ( would need to be flashed with Elsa 979 Bios for working with TX2 - then it would run all the usual games like SF) see link https://www.arcade-projects.com/forums/index.php?thread/916-taito-t...

Re: exA-Arcadia

Does exA-Arcadia plan on attending JAPPO 2020 or making another showcase video to update the progress of forthcoming titles, I found that quite informative. You have given good reasons why targeting current generation and the popular developers needs to be the main focus. However interestingly you m...

Re: Optimal Voltage for Cave PCBs

5.04v is ok. I personally leave it anywhere between 4.92v-5v That's good advice. Some games will read different voltages depending if showing the attract mode or playing in game, due to the additional audio and I/O loadings. Generally you want to be 5v or under, unless you know the PCB states other...

Re: Capcom Home Arcade

It's the glossy overlay and invisible buttons that put me off the most, otherwise in some ways the grey shell design is quite neat.

If the price drops down to about £100-149 then sure, I would be tempted.

Humm.

Shame about that controller :wtf:

I guess we will see somebody attempt a DIY re-package the internal bits.

Re: exA-Arcadia

I contacted the 'webmaster' of exa.ac and received a reply to confirm they were only testing the store for launch. $2500 for the motherboard is in line with other manufactures, if that turns out to be the final retail price. I hope in future a consideration for offering discounts on games purchased ...

I've only just noticed the attract mode :awe: it appears that the system shows the game located in each slot and cycles between them.

Testing the first production batch in the home market and intended operating environment has many benefits, not least any minor snagging issues can resolved. Typically where you have a distributor arrangement you can't offer fixed availability or purchase price. Show Me Holdings Co is acting as the ...

Re: Xeno Crisis - Bitmap Bureau (MVS)

I have pre-ordered an MVS copy of this and eagerly awaiting shipment. I don't expect to receive it until October/November though. I believe they have been developing the Neo version in parallel with Megadrive. Only a pure guess and and I could be completely wrong, but they might need a little a bit...

Re: exA-Arcadia

I believe it's better for the system to focus on HD than trying to cover all basis and increasing the costs. Developers will be looking at the platform for ease to port games onto and off the system, just like other PC based platforms. exA is aimed at the commercial sector where majority of arcades ...

Is that what the carts look like?
Yes.

perhaps the colour blue denotes the cartridge is for field test only and the red colour is the standard game centre release? and apparently you must locate the exA motherboard on top of a Taito X2 or X3 for it to function. :shifty:

Re: exA-Arcadia

I have some general questions;

1. What is the expected retail price of the motherboard + game
2. Can a game be swapped between different motherboards?

Thanks

Re: exA-Arcadia

Looking forward to this.

If there is not going to be an official reseller in Europe then might it be worth providing a demo unit to somebody with PC hardware knowledge (AndyGeezer?) so that we have a local point of technical assistance.

Re: Arcooda - Australia's porfolio of modern arcade machines

I'm not knocking the product or company, but Is it not just a cewlix (Chinese vewlix clone) with a different control panel to cunningly disguise it?
