Re: Blurry Monitor Issue

Replace the CRT socket, no need the same but just same pinouts.

Are u using a step down Transformer? If yes you should be sure that it supply just 100-110v and not less than 5a!

Re: Toshiba PB 6643 geometry issue

And yes the tube is the original one, although when i disassembled it from the cabinet i couldn't know if it had this problem or not because i didn't have a working chassis. I had to disassemble and reassemble it with a metal frame since there is no frame on the cabinet, this to be able to test it o...

Re: TV - Hitachi C2156TN, tube in this any good?

28 *tubes are useless on candy cabs plus those hitachi consumer set unluckely use no hitachi tubes but thomson or videcolor tubes both not the best. Rarely they used Philips Austria tubes wich are awesome! So If you are in luck you can take it for retrogaming and/or jamma test...

Re: K7000 sparking

Beleave me K7000 have no rivals even against Ms8 25 wich is certainly absolutely fantastic. I do not know What happen at wells Gardner with the last models from 7400 to D9400 wich are not reliable not even near same quality on Both chassis and tubes and no near picture quality. Old Zenith and RCA tu...

Re: K7000 sparking

Well done! On those monitors a perfect White balance is crucial to obtain the best picture and to archive that you need a scope since the cut off pots are really sensitive and alter the gains, you will find the instruction on K7000 manual. Once they are properly calibratet they are simply stellar de...

Re: MS8 26SG focus issue

Yes but on my case replacing chassis completely solved the slow focus on startup then not was the tube. Do not warry about... your tube will last more than any nasty LCDs on the market, just enjoy and in the mean time try to fnd a replacement.

Re: MS8 26SG focus issue

You should not try a ms8 29 or ms9 chassis on a Mitsubishi 26" due to the yoke not match.. Any way if it is not the chassis then is the tube and on my experience a tube rejuve do not any reliable results on those tubes (Both 26" mitsu and toshiba 29") so you should replace the tube ..

Re: MS8 26SG focus issue

I want restore the original degauss, I have already tested every component on degauss circuit and all is fully ok, now I think that the two wires just need to be connected to AC 100v but still need to know where place the button for manual degaus

The MS8-26SG NOT have the 5 pin header like the SU.
On this board there are just the two Red wires directly soldered on pcb and coveed with rtv White silicon.

Re: MS8 26SG focus issue

Ptc=posistor, (Positive temperature coefficient) is the Little black plastic box with two or three pins, it control the degauss on every crt monitor/tv. On ms8 26sg it is directly connected to the ac line on ac line distributor inside the aero, on one wire is placed a switch button for manual degaus...

Re: K7000 sparking

Congrat,s you have one of the best arcade monitior for 15khz ever made, it should comes with a Zenith or Rca tube, most likely you have to replace the flyback wich often fail.
K7000 chassis require an isolation transformer.
