Re: Chewlix vs Vewlix vs other modern Cabs

If you want to run a Pandora - then the standard off the shelf JAMMA Chewlix with 2L14B or 2L16B control panel will work just fine. When you order it you need to make sure it comes with a full JAMMA loom and power supply - the Chewlix monitor is a 720P, 32" CD with DVI & VGA inputs (some come with H...

Re: New container announcement...new cabs added 26/04/19

Customs must be on a go-slow. My PCB's sat in customs for over a week so SEA freight from Tokyo to Leicester just took 88 days.

I'm off to Glastonbury at the end on June so if these aren't arriving until mid-July that suits me fine.

Re: Naomi multi cart

His multi-carts are a horrible bodge - 3V chips running on a 5V rail, hot-glue etc....

Someone over on AP is working on a real Naomi multi-cart (not Darksoft) so save your money and use net-boot or CF-reader for now....

On the boat - 1 * Sega Aero City.
No Dia Black ? :(
Yes - 2 * DIA Black as well - but I'll need to sell the F's to pay for them (so 2 in - 2 out) the Aero is a new addition.

Re: 100 Yen coin substitute

I 3D printed a dummy coin mech and installed that on the Vewlix's so any coin with a smaller diameter than 50p will work (50p's get stuck on the coin switch wire).

My other cab has a 928 token mech and some "MAME" tokens (which are about the same size as a Quarter)....

I'm working on a new setup for MAME too - I'm reading through here...

http://www.ukvac.com/forum/read-only-wi ... 66332.html

As I can get loads of W7 COA's from PC's we're scrapping at work and it's still the best supported OS for emulators.

I've done something like that - pulled the pins out then superglued a piece of plastic like a chunk of CD case into the slot.
