Re: Taito F2 issue (Don Doko Don, Liquid Kids)

I thought Don Doko Don used -5 for the audio.

The two Liquid Kids pcbs (World) I have used have both been single layer so I suppose the the two layer is native Japan release.

Re: Arkanoid series spinner pinout

There should to be a spinner central collective created.

Most of the games requiring hook up infomation have been talked about on various forums/websites over the years but this infomation is scattered or now lost.

Re: CPS2 Problem

@FLTCHRR

Are you using one motherboard with multiple CPS2 B boards?

Are the A and B boards held together with clips/cable/zip ties?

Whats the voltage reading at the Jamma edge connector?

Does this infomation apply to the faster Western tweaked release of Pac Land.

I found the Japanese ( long nose ) version too slow to really enjoy.

Re: Your Top 10 Shooters (shmups) + Poll

From the companies listed Toaplan got my vote.

Not really a fan of the later splinter companies that formed from the Toaplan dissolvement.

The poll really should have had a Seibu Kaihatsu option - bad omission.

And IREM deserve not to be classed as "also-rans"

Cant seem to find a manual relating to this game. Dip switch pin 1 turned on brings up the Test Menu. Is the menu English on your Japan version goatboy. If not you can always go through the process in mame. There was a guide somewhere showing how to connect up a spinner if someone as it please post....
