Re: Super Nintardbros!

Enjoying Links Awakening, I've not played the GB version so I cant compare. I bet the GB frame rate is more consistent though :problem:

Franco said dead cells was good. I bought it, a year later I’ll say it’s good
Great isn't it :awe: I've just reinstalled it after a long hiatus. I had almost forgotten how much fun it is! Frame rate is much better after the update too. 8-)

Axially, i.e in line with the main axis of the tube. This is a side view of a CRT without the neck board. http://www.oldtellys.co.uk/colneck.jpg Note the pins at the RH side of the CRT. They are in line with the axis of the tube, in this view orientation they are horizontal. This is a photo of a cha...

Re: Where to find that part?

M4 course (standard) pitch is 0.7mm so you would get two pitches of full thread in a 1.5mm thick piece of material. It's not ideal but it would be enough to hold a joystick to a panel, assuming the tapped thread was near perfect. I think you would struggle to tap such a thread with a hand tap only a...

Re: Mounting pcb to wood?

There's another couple of ways to mount them below: I remember a guy here who just used some kind of wire hooks that you thread into the holes used for PCB feet and hung the PCB from them on the top of the wooden board inside the cab. Very clever and easy to switch boards. Something like this? http:...

Re: Correct measure for 30mm buttons holes

Cut the holes 30mm.

As you've found the body of the button is less than 30mm but they tend to have ribs between the body and shoulder which centralise the button and take up any slack.

One might say they're ribbed for your pleasure :hinthint:

Re: CPS2 A Board Fried?

You can see that one end of the edge connector is broken. This will have made it much easier to misalign the connector as the two ends help to centralise the edge connector onto the PCB edge.

Xanadu Next. I bought the big box version from Hong Kong in 2007 for a whopping 29 HKD, but the game was in Chinese and it had StarForce injected to the game installation. :problem: Now, 12 years later, I'm enjoying the game in English. Highly recommended to fans of Japanese ARPGs / top down Zelda ...

Re: Sega / Vewlix CP CAD files

Thanks for the feedback. I've not had any made myself but I thought Derick had, I'll check with him too to see if he had issues. Can you align the ends of the one of the repro panels and your F panel and then use a steel rule to measure the extra length of the repro panel at the other end? I can the...
