Re: You've Got Grail! The Valuation Thread
They are all 60hz and not PAL. Uhh, what? You're pointing to home computers and consoles now? Arcade PCBs have RGB output. not colour encoded composite... Anyway, the topic was price discussion - even putting ~30% on top of 57000 yen open auction end price wont make more than 74100 (633e). Wh...

Re: You've Got Grail! The Valuation Thread
Yeah, but also a big question goes: what is the real selling value... What I have noted is that some (especially Japanese) sellers keep their huge prices from year to another and nobody buys and stuff doesn't move. Imo, value in price tag is not real until it sells well with that price.

There has bee...

Re: Preserving software in CRT Monitors
A great idea and really ignored thing...
Rather easy to do if chips are in sockets and you're doing for example the recapping anyway...

Re: Introduce yourself here!
An "oldtimer" from Finland. Started with some cheap boards and shelf made "supergun" about 20 years ago. I'm capable of doing some fixing, recapping etc. as well. Making the STV-multicart LCD selectors at the moment (sales on A-P forum). Nowadays I have couple of dozen PCB's, several cabs and way to...
