Blast CP Lock

Does anyone know where I can get blast city control panel locks? I'd appreciate it if someone else with a blast could share a picture of the lock on the inside. I've recently been playing fight cade on my blast and I thought the cabinet was wobbly but realized its because the CP isn't locked. I may ...

A faulty red gain or cutoff pot, or a poor solder joint.

Start with the pots. See what happens when you start turning them.
Yeah, red comes back up when I turn the red gain pot. Even if I then return it to its original position. Then it slowly recedes again.

Monitor can't hold red.

The red on my monitor fluctuate and eventually disappears. It's not suitable for playing on or showing guests.

Here's a video:

Any ideas?

This is on my Sega Aero Table by the way.

Capcom Impress remote

Does anyone know, is the remote on the stock chassis for a capcom impress soldered to the chassis? Or can it be unplugged?

Re: Broken potentiometer

Where would I get a replacement? Someone on another forum said to use www.digikey.com but I'm not exactly sure how to sift through its search options. There are so many variables and they're alien to me. Would this work? https://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/bourns-inc/3310Y-001-202L/3310Y-001-2...

adjust pot fully one way
It's broken so it turns endlessly and doesn't change the resistance.

Can I solder on a replacement?

can you see a code printed on the pot, maybe 502 or 53?
Like this? "20 2"

Broken potentiometer

So I just got my monitor recapped only to realize the pot for red gain on my remote is broken. So I can't see the new clean picture. T_T
How would I go about fixing or replacing the potentiometer? (the monitor is stock for capcom impress btw).

Re: Gate Ninety

I've bought from them before. I love what I have. It looks like rn I only have my sega ash tray and capcom keychain from them but there's a bunch of stuff on my list go get soon including taito tokens more ashtrays, keychains for my blast and astro cabs ect. I also see you can get connectors from th...

Capcom Impress Adhesive

Any suggestions for an adhesive to restick the marquee slate in the top of a Capcom Impress?

Also for the rubbery rim inside the bezel mask?

I know glue can get the job done but I'm wondering if there's a specific kind of adhesive that's appropriate for these contexts given the heat and electronics.

Re: Removing Impress Monitor

One other thing, best if there are two of you to lift the monitor out and also if you do it on your own lie the Impress on its back. Good luck and just make sure you don’t get caught on a cable. Thank you. Yeah, I wrapped a bunch of the detached cables so they hopefully don't get caught in anything...

Re: Removing Impress Monitor

Ok thanks. Yeah, I just found this video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YfQbdvB8GSM At 7:35. I got the psu out and those other cables disconnected so this neck board should be the last thing before I get the monitor out and can tackle this cigarette smell/staining. I'll let y'all know how it goes....

The pcb on the end of the neck pulls off, it’s a socket that slides on to pins on the end of the tube.
Cool. I’ll take the psu out before continuing.

How does the pcb come come off? Does it twist in some direction? Does it slip off in some direction?

Just mind the neck.
Thank you.

So I got the anode cup out and disconnected some of the wires going from the tube to the chassis. How do I disconnect this board at the end of the neck? or do I just unhook the wires and leave it on?

Re: Removing Impress Monitor

The remote wires to the inside of the CP and is screwed down/ there are detachable pins there so I can take the monitor out and get the remote back in the original place. Just screw the remote in and replace the pins. Sort of uneasy about this monitor having no frame. I guess it's just gonna be sitt...

Removing Impress Monitor

So I took a leap of faith and bought a Capcom Impress from yanton on ebay. Of course, the cab is yellow as hell and makes high pitch wine when turned on. (Is that the psu or the monitor?) I want to take the monitor out to try de-yellowing the cab while I get it serviced. But It looks like the Chassi...

Re: Astro City Marquee light

It actually wasn’t the same as my blast city. It’s an 18 inch f15 T8 with FG-1E ballast started. So I got the light and a new starter for good measure but now I have a new problem. Whenever I secure the back plate of the Astro, the light goes out. Particularly if I press down on the left side of the...
