Re: Anyone use a Framemeister with their 'gun / control box?

Cool, glad to hear you got it sorted. Tbh, I really did consider getting either a PVM or BVM but the picture I get on my set up, just doesn't justify the additional outlay for a monitor. I did recent pick up a Trinitron CRT so I could start playing Time Crisis 2 again with the Guncon, and I really ...

Re: Anyone use a Framemeister with their 'gun / control box?

Where did you buy it from dude? I'm looking to pick one up. The Framemeister or the Trinitron? :eh: The Framemeister I picked up through Amazon.co.jp as it was the cheapest way at the time (about two years ago) as they were on offer. I think a lot of people use Solaris as Joe said above. The Trinit...

Re: Anyone use a Framemeister with their 'gun / control box?

While I cannot help with your technical issues on your AV5000, what I can say is I use the XRGB Mini with my AV9000 without any issues and it gives a superb picture on the Panasonic flat panel I use for gaming. Oh and I still use the Sigma supplied RGB scart cable rather than a Euro cable, but I dou...

lots of sensible stuff Like most things I agree with you in the main. I was mostly getting at the NG community rather than NGDev themselves really. The point I was trying to make is they'll buy whatever's put in front of them regardless of quality and cost. I don't really know much about NGDev and ...

but can't cut the mustard with a game that would cost, what, $5 Well that's the state of the market today. $0 to $5 with as broad as possible appeal. Reach for millions or die. :( We all moan about the current generation and here's a company rebelling. You're either interested or your not, but I ca...

Re: NG: DEV.Team: Razion

There's also the expectation of graphical quality for a given platform. These games look great for a Neo Geo but on a PC monitor capable of beyone Full HD resolutions? the market probably look twice. Selling to a market as dedicated as the Arcade scene people is a good strategy when you're running ...

Re: NG: DEV.Team: Razion

Well to be honest, I'm thinking of buying it for a few goes and then selling it for most, if not all, of my money back. :shifty: Seems both early and harsh to call it mediocre. I'm proud to own some jamma boards that I love while others call mediocre. Going on previous market demand, you probably c...

What's the going rate for a Data East Midnight Resistance PCB?

Does anyone know if the pcb is playable with a standard eight-way joystick as the original cabs used a rotary stick?

Re: The best MAKs / Superguns

I've recently purchased a MAK Strike Supergun and I'm fairly pleased with it, my only criticism would be levelled at the design layout, which in my opinion isn't ideal... but perhaps is down to the way I have mine set up? Anyway, it's very compact, not much bigger than a portable hdd, and well made....
