New Versus City Lock & Kick Harness question

Hey guys. Bought a second New Versus City recently, and the seller kindly shipped it to me without any keys. :ryu: They're magnetic locks, but they're not Sega 5575s or 5577s and I haven't drilled one out yet to see which number they're actually keyed to . . . That being said, my question. Is there ...

Time Crisis 4 Bad Gun Sync

I'm currently having an issue with my Time Crisis 4 - one of the guns goes wacky when pointed on the right half of the monitor. I had a similar issue once before and reseating the cables underneath the control panel fixed it, but that didn't work this time. I've also heard that a bad I/O board can c...

Where to buy Extension Harness for JVS Power Supply

I just upgraded my Vewlix's bunk Wei-ya Power Supply to a Sun unit for powering JVS boards (Naomi, etc) but the connections from the Sun are rather short. I'd prefer to have an extension cable for the plugs so that I don't need the power supply sitting right next to the board. Any suggestions on whe...

New Net City part needed: Upper Coin Chute NOA-1483

As the topic says, I need to replace a totally bent up/borked Upper Coin Chute in one of my NNCs. I haven't had any luck sourcing the part from my Japanese suppliers. It's Item #3 in the attached image. Anyone that can help?

Re: Whats wrong with lp mp hp

Also, I'm pretty sure his point was not that regarding terminology but about the insane level of nit-picking regarding single frames etc. That **** surely would strip away all enjoyment, no? Not that your info isn't valuable and welcome dude :awe: If that was his point, then perhaps I should have a...

frame advantage. and this is why I have no interest in competitive play or strategy guides So you have no interest in competitive play because you are unwilling to learn basic vocabulary words used by the entire Internet to describe otherwise lengthy to explain game concepts? Here's an analogy to d...

Actually, I got a bad case of the flu the day after creating this thread, so I still haven't had time to try anything with it. Hopefully I can get around to it next week.

Re: CPS2 board resetting itself

Ah hah, now we're getting somewhere---it does seem to happen when mashing buttons, so perhaps it's the kick harness built into the NNC wiring causing the issue. I'll try wiring up a custom kick harness for it and see if that eliminates the issue.

Re: The Simpsons - Rom failure -2P version

Definitely original, still had the Konami JP warranty stickers on top of the ROMs when I got it. kazuo, I have asked Ray from Arcade Components multiple times (I've actually been trying to get him to do it since December 2010) so after 7 months I am compelled to find someone else who can do the job ...

Re: CPS2 board resetting itself

Doesn't happen with any other games. I usually run a Naomi (JVS) in it and it works fine. Other JAMMA boards work fine as well.

I was using the clamps originally, but when I was testing/swapping A/B boards, I didn't have the clamps on. I'll try again with the boards smushed together really hard =P

Re: The Simpsons - Rom failure -2P version

I have a US 4P board and the ROMs are NOT socketed. Can post a pic later. Is there anyone here that can do the full ROM swap with a soldering iron? Since the board isn't socketed, I've been searching for someone to convert my board for a while! Preferably in the US but I'd be willing to ship to the ...

CPS2 board resetting itself

I'm trying to run a CPS2 in a New Net City (custom-wired for Jamma, not using any adapters) and I'm getting a strange problem-- the games will randomly reboot. For SSF2T, it happens sometimes when it loads a stage or Game Overs. For Super Gem Fighter, it'll go haywire when you pick certain character...

Delta 32 Coin-munching issue . . .

I've been encountering an extremely annoying issue lately with my Delta 32s. Various times during the day, they'll eat coins (coin drops through correct slot into coin box, but the pulse is not registering). I'm using Wei-ya Hi-08CS drop-down mechs, but encountered similar issues with regular (non-m...

Re: 2 Sound questions on vewlix F

I had the same problem a few weeks ago, the PS3's amp is slightly too much for the Vewlix to handle, so you need to turn down the in-game sound on certain titles in the Options menu. If Moto GP doesn't have that option, you'd need to use the phono extension with volume control. 360 seems to work fin...

Yeah, I would. Ideally, 20 of each (to give me some leeway for screw-ups). You're the master of all things good if you can hook me up. I turned on my PM box just for you.

Those would be pictures of the connectors. So kernow, are those actually yours or did you just have photos lying around?

All I need are 1x Male 15 Pin and 1x Female 12 Pin.
