Re: Dodonpachi Saidaioujou EXA LABEL

At least one Mame dev has said that they'll add the game to Mame as soon as someone sends them the files. However, getting those files means removing surface mounted components possibly rendering the board completely useless. No collector would ever lend their board for the job if it means their $5...

Re: exA-Arcadia

Quite tragic that we have a new system but there’s mainly talk about who screws over who, regardless who’s right. Leave the drama to shmups is what I say, but then I've been accused of being an Exa shill as well so watch yourselves. I am glad that I am not alone in being accused as a shill.. I too ...

Re: Modern Jamma games

Those games look freakin' awesome, but they seem on the expensive side. I haven't seen that many retro JAMMA boards going for more than $300-500 and they're asking nearly $1000 for a JAMMA setup for an indie game? Like I said, the games look awesome but that seems so steep to me. Where have you bee...

SDOJ needs a BL.
What changes would you want to see for SDOJ BL? I've barely played SDOJ so I'm not too knowledgeable on what improvements could be made.

Re: exA-Arcadia

my internet investigation alone. More specifically, I was surprised that there are not a lot of arcade machines with JVS IO boards in the arcades beyond Japan, but I do understand that has been subject of interest to the arcade home hobbyists so far, along with some operators that do have t...

Re: exA-Arcadia

What's the general consensus from the Aka to Blue location tests? Is Japan enjoying it? I'm sure it also has to do with the fact that CRTs are 4:3, and LCDs are all 16:9. I've seen 4:3 to 16:9 done to somewhat good effect (streeetch! my local arcade here in Texas has Dodonpachi DOJ on a Viewlix).. B...

New Net City IO clarification needed

I found out my New Net City didn't come with an IO board while waiting for my netdimm to arrive, will this IO work fine for a New Net City cabinet?

Re: New Astro City Monitor shows no video

Reseating the cable for the remote board from the control deck to the chassis on both ends fixed it! Very first thing I tried!!

New Astro City Monitor shows no video

At 11 seconds you can see a brief line of video then the screen turns off, I do see a glow on the neck from the back of the cabinet looking at the monitor.

Initial D questions

Hello everyone, There is a seller near me with an Initial D D3 pair and I was wondering how difficult it would be to upgrade the Naomi o a Lindbergh or Ringedge system, preferably Ringedge. I am looking at purchasing it to run D7, has anyone ever gone through this process before? Additionally, there...
