Re: JAMMA ORIGINAL/BOOT- -Test, Spare parts Or Problem Audio / Video

I would be interested in Violent Storm and Caveman Ninja. Do you have pics? If the boards are good condition with the stickers intact, I will buy. Postage to Australia, 4209.

Thanks!

Re: CPS-II shells, can they be cleaned?

Like jizz? That comes off easy, as long as it’s not all up in its grills. Bwahahaha!! Those black marks, both sort of blanket dark discolouration or the black marks that kind of look like scratches but aren't. It reminds me of the horrible yellow colour of SuFami cases. I have tried windex and had ...

CPS-II shells, can they be cleaned?

I really hate the marks and discolouration on some of my CPS-II shells. Is there a method to clean them? Maybe something like the method used to de-yellow plastic?

Re: Buying EEPROMs for board repairs

Ahhh, bugger about the sound priblems  The priblem is that the board has very low sound which is barely audible when the board is as high as it can go. Thank you both for tge advice! I am actually a member of Aussie Arcade, but I found the restrictive nature of the site quite annoying. Not bein...

Re: Where to buy repro instructions/obi?

All of the Japan stuff is simply photocopied with little regard to the actual quality of the result. Best off just asking around for specific pieces you can print yourself. Yeah, some are rubbish quality. I got photo copied crap with my WWF Wrestlefest board. But considering I paid ¥2100 for it, I ...

Where to buy repro instructions/obi?

I am looking for somewhere to buy repro instructions and obi fof Japanese games. Japanese sellers always seem to include repros for cab instructions, obi instructions and manuals. I try as much as possible to buy boards with artwork but it is pretty difficult. It is possible to buy original art sets...

Re: Solution for quick changing PCBs in Astro City?

It's a bit of a nightmare. I am going to buy 6 slot switch boards for each of my cabs. The problem is how to house the boards in the cab. There is just no room. Of course the other problem is not being able to put the pcbs in the switcher. Something like Snow Bros. will have no problem, but you can ...

Re: Buying EEPROMs for board repairs

I want to make the equipment to restore suicide biards to original states with batteries. So much better that way. I just won a lot of 10 boards on yahoo, I will be able to use some of the boards for parts. Not interested in marhjong crap. Main reason I bid was for a King of Dragons board. I was hop...

Re: Marquee Group Order (Uni/NNC/Blast, Aero, NAC, AWSD/E2/3)

Not a problem! Bub comes first, not a worry at all. I love that Daimakaimura using the Suoer Grafx art. Just wish I had the board to make the purchase worthwhile. Personally, I would probably go for a SSFIIX, SFZ2, FF (the Astro III art from the US MEGA-CD release), VF4EVO, SEGA, ....so many I like....

Thanks nem! Bugger, so that means I need to source an original remote for the ms2931? Or is one of those buttins on the frame the mode button that brings up the OSD? GAH, guess I will have to try thast later. EDIT: I tried the buttons on the monitor frame and it kind of worked. The first time I pres...

Re: Blast City Monitor Controls Not Working

I took the bezel off yesterday, but I could not see any connections. There were 3 buttons on the frame of the monitor but they seemed to do nothing. I think I need to get into the back of the cab and check the connections. I just don't have the tools to open it at the momenbt. It is really irritatin...

Blast City Monitor Controls Not Working

I got a Blast City delivered last Friday and I love it. One problem is that the geometry is terrible and I really need to fix it. The control panel for the monitors does nothing though. The H and V size and position as well as contrast all do not a thing. I looked inside the cab and it seems to be c...

Re: Captain Commando and Wonder 3 De-suicide Questions

I would love the Wonder 3 set, please! Is there just the one set?

I still need to get a ROM burner so I can fix these boards. I will order one next week but I am sure it will take weeks to get here.

Also have to order a bunch of chips.

Re: Captain Commando and Wonder 3 De-suicide Questions

On the Carrier Airwing, it looks like the screen is chopped up and moves in vertical blocks moving backwards and forwards. The text is all jumbled and nonsense. So it's a complete loss, huh? Bugger. The seller claims he tested it before he sent it to me and it was working. Unless they paid no attent...
