Re: Dragon Ball FighterZ

Arc haven't failed to deliver with this game
GGXrd Rev 2 and DBFZ are proof of how good a fighting game can be! I even bought a HRAP4 for these.

Re: The King Of Fighters 14

Both this and GGXrd Revelator are getting more playtime in one day than SFV has since I got it
Both support legacy controls.
Really enjoying this, typical SNK boss cheapness though, but hey if it aint broke don't fix it ;)

Re: Street Fighter V

So, I buckled and bought a PS4 for SFV So, you can no longer do a hurricane kick in the air when jumping back, WTF? Numerous other things about this that doesn't impress me, but the biggie, I thought i'd see what it plays like online seeing as I have no 2p competition at all, you have to pay to play...

Re: Atomiswave Emulation - whats the dealio?

I never really got on with Demul, guess I will have to look into it a bit more.

Surprised no one appears to be using Atomiswave emulation with a funky front end or what not

Atomiswave Emulation - whats the dealio?

As per title really.

I remeber a couple of years ago it was running on DEMUL and/or a variant of it (can't remember the name of it, was it Atoms or something?)

I miss Hokuto No Ken sometimes and I do remember that worked.

Has there been any progress over the past few years?

I kept back a 3-1 Magic Box and an original Saturn pad for my emulation setup.

Matt, do you need analogue ? I might have an original Playstation pad and USB convertor kicking around

IIRC I bought them after speaking to Joeblade about em back in the KC days, bought the Yamaha amp from Nightstalker (?) TBH I've considered taking the lot to Cash Convertors or whatev...

SFZ3/SFA3 is IMVHO the best in the series for me, its much much deeper than Pooper Turdblow, people who can't play it properly slag it off  Hell I used to Alpha counter just to take the **** and learning the infinite combo's seperates men from boys. Re: looking to buy a vewlix, any advice for me?.... SORTED!

Nice cab. Looks like the one Megs had a few years ago. Getting tempted with a Vewlix ..... Thats because it is my old one. I replaced the sides with ones from an F Edit: if the TX2 still has a JVS PAC fitted internally, that had a custom button map so the 2p SFIV would work with a jvs I/O.

Re: What was the first game &cabinet you bought

The back leg covers and custom marquee are waaaaaay too familiar, the marquee is definitely one of the ones Joeblade made ( he made me a whole bunch of cool custom ones) can't remember if Joe or myself gave Andy a couple.

Re: What was the first game &cabinet you bought

I was actually after an SFII cab at the time, but the guy who I got the woody off wouldn't sell me the SF machine as he wanted to keep that himself.
I remember hooking up a SNES to that cab, but could only get it working in black and white.
