crt switchres not switching resolution (RetroArch, PVM, ATI 4350, Windows 7)

Hi, after installing RetroArch, I've installed CRT Emudriver 2.0 for my ATI HD 4350 ( guide http://geedorah.com/eiusdemmodi/forum/viewtopic.php?pid=1016#p1016 ) and I was able to choose low resolutions as desktop resolution and to switch picture to my PVM. I've turned of Bilinear Filtering, and game...

Hey guys, I'm giving up my arcade collection and want to sell it all. I have some good and rare boards. I bought from two members here before and not sold anything because I didn't have anything spare. Now I want to sell everything and I would love to sell it here instead of ebay. Can you please per...

Re: GroovyMAME/UME for dummies

Thanks, and one more thing...
GroovyMAME should be use with d3d or ddraw option enabled?
Also, should I set frame_delay and what would be the value?
I'm using 32bit Windows XP btw, and an Ati 4350.

Re: GroovyMAME/UME for dummies

Sweet, I used keropi's binaries on my yesterday's bought Dell Optiplex 755, it's working great. I threw a bunch of CPS1 games, they are same as original PCBs. I was wondering, do you set a default resolution for all games or you let it change by itself per game (original resolution)? I heard that is...

Re: Final Fight graphical issues

Nope, I didn't check anything besides changing A board itself. Maybe I'll try to reseat B board roms. But this raises another questions - I have never personaly had any board fail to myself, but I've been collecting for a year and a half right now. I don't know how will I take it :D Maybe I should c...

Re: Final Fight graphical issues

If replacing the A board improved the situation, definitely the original A board from the Final Fight game has developed a fault. Try the A board from Final Fight with your Daimakaimura B board and see what happens... 8-) Thank's for the answer! Yes, A board on Final Fight is definitely faulty. It ...

Hello guys,

Can you help me identify these boards?

Re: Dai Makai Mura vs Ghouls 'n Ghosts dip switches

It's such a delicious game! I didn't get the original PCB until just a couple of months ago, with my previous experience being only from credit feeding the MegaDrive version (and a few runs of the PS1 port). I think it's a game you definitely don't want "too" easy - the most fun aspect of it is the...

Re: Dai Makai Mura vs Ghouls 'n Ghosts dip switches

I played trough Dai Makai Mura this morning with DIP switches set to Off Off Off (Medium difficuilty, level D). It's harder than level B, but not THAT harder. I got to the Level 4 boss, but had to go to work.

Re: Dai Makai Mura vs Ghouls 'n Ghosts dip switches

Sumez, thanks for the reply! The only two places in the game where I can actually feel the difference between the first and second loop difficulties are on the first stage, which has faster and more aggressive skeletons and faster spawning vines, and the 4th stage where the enemies that shoot at you...
