Re: Sony & Nintendo PlayStation Proto Discovered

$1.2m from someone in Norway apparently, so I guess €1M. Who knows though? Could easily just be a rumour in all the hype that was built up.

It’d be hilarious if Greg McLemore flipped it for that 1M.

I also came across that recently. Holding a headphone lead to video ground and common ground quickly tested it.

Yes, I think you missed: “It's a classic and a collectable item with substantial amounts of value which I believe will continue to rise.”

It’s a sound investment. There are only 100 million of them.

Re: Sony D24 Bvm (SOLD) pics added

Well yeah, everyone buys them for retro gaming these days. Was he not assuming the same thing in the first post?

The size queening is just odd, but I think he’s probably just trolling the price tbh. I shouldn’t worry myself about it.

I’ll delete all the guff if you want but it’s sold now anyway.

Re: Sony & Nintendo PlayStation Proto Discovered

Yeah, I remember reading games forum comments with people playing bid chicken on a newsworthy rare item like this. The seller ended up getting a fraction of the highest bid after actually finding his Lucky Palmer, way down the ebay bundle. Can’t think what the item was. A NES cart painted gold by Ni...

Re: Super Nintardbros!

I tried Hotel Dusk back when I would still willingly give time to a game like that, and couldn’t click with it either, despite wanting to. At the time when the DS, touch screen gaming, and an older audience were quite new things it was part of a wave of interesting games with experimental styles, bu...

Re: exA-Arcadia

Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo on CPS2 has a 4 frame delay between button press and action startup. It’s consistent and it’s by design. I feel in these cases that calling this input lag is a bit misleading. I always thought of it as a comparative term when measuring latency brought by an additional la...

Re: exA-Arcadia

No you're not. I've been following this whole thing from the side (also discussing with Zaarock), and it frustrates me heavily and I truly feel sorry for you to have to deal with this absolute joke of a customer service. Why? Seemed like a very reasonable reply. The hardware causes two frames and t...

Re: exA-Arcadia

Regarding Unity: If a game is designed and tested with input lag I don’t see much of an issue. It’s when additional input lag is introduced to a game that was designed without it that it can become a problem.

Re: Super Nintardbros!

We chatted about this since your post, but I’d recommend either the VC version on your 3DS or the GBA version on your micro.

I’m not sure how the GBA version’s “improvements” and cropping effect the original LTTP, so mentioning it here for anyone else to comment.

Re: Chode of Chodes: CoC talk in Chode Hall

I gradually lost enjoyment after getting to a level that demanded more effort than I wanted to give anymore. But the specific thing that absolutely killed it for me was when they introduced the constant rewards a couple of years ago. Lots of free loot and instant builds that saved you hours of grind...
